I agree totally...and that was the trust of what I said when asked to ask a pregnant woman. The fact that a pregnant woman would say she is carrying a baby...means relatively little. Of course she would say that...IF SHE WANTED A BABY.

Ask a pregnant woman who definitely does not want a baby...and she will almost never consider the structure to be a baby.




If you allow an embryo or fetus to grow to term...it will emerge from the woman's womb as a baby...a living human. I grant that.

But until it is born...it is not a living human. It is a fetus totally dependent on the body of the woman in which it is growing. AS I HAVE POINTED OUT A HALF DOZEN TIMES, IT IS A UNIQUE SITUATION.




Yes, if the numbers are correct...it is sad. Even if the numbers are inflated...it is sad. Even if only a dozen women had abortions...it is sad.

That is not the point, though. If a pregnant woman decides she wants to have an abortion...SHE SIMPLY MUST BE ALLOWED TO MAKE THAT CHOICE. The government should not be able to take that choice away from her.

This "shouldn't be used as birth control" is nonsense. No woman would want to go through the rigors of an abortion rather than use the pill...or some other method of prevention. But occasionally an unintended pregnancy occurs...and the woman in whose body it occurs should not have to be a slave to legislative dictates.

It is a living human. It will not be a pig. It will not be a chicken. It will not be a fish. It is a human being.
