Well one thing will be resolved with the GOP Tax Bill,

They never had any interest in the debt, all meaningless rhetoric, least now we won't have to listen to it anymore

They do have interest in debt, just not when they are in the White House. It's not a difficult concept to understand.

Funny you never look inside your own house. Only complain about others

How is it wrong?

"the only party that is ever concerned about deficits is the party that is out of power," wrong, deficits and debt have been the conservative war cry for decades, especially in the last eight years when it was echoed vehemently as criticism of the Obama Administration, who by the way reduced Federal discretionary spending

I am correct. Obama cried about deficits when he was running then ran them up as President. Oh I know, you will make all sorts of excuses as to why he "had to in order to save the economy" but he ran up the debt. In fact he doubled it.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE DEBT.

They talk about it, but nobody ever does anything about it. Period. If you want to play Big Indian Little Indian, then go right ahead

Political parties like to spend money when they are in power but don't like it when they aren't but somehow that has to do with race. Ok.

There was nothing about race at all in Archives' post. He merely said "Obama." Where do you see race in that?

Oh, dear. Never mind.

BTW, he's absolutely right. Remember how the Teatards formed right after Obama won? Taxed-Enough-Already morons, carrying guns to their rallies, so terribly concerned about the deficit and their kids' and g-kids' futures? Kinda eerie how quiet they've gone, isn't it? I wonder if their darling, Rand Paul, will vote to raise the deficit another trillion bucks?

No it isn't difficult to understand, quite apparent actually, the concern for deficits and debt was always a facade, all the pretensious speeches and warnings were just that, bogus, difference your missing is it was suppose to an economic principle center to conservatism, which even here you are accepting was never anything but political theater

Makes you wonder if conservatives actually believe three quarters of the things they say they profess

It's been implied many, many, many times here opposition to Obama was based on race. "You didn't support Obama? You're a racist."

So when someone leaves it open ended like he did I don't think it out line to make that assumption of what he was implying.

Yeah, I agree that they don't have any interest in debt or deficits. Neither party does.

Of course you will always have to listen to it. You won't stop them from talking about it.

But, maybe you can make them?

Nah, your still wrong, and your attempt to deflect the topic by putting it on Obama is weak at best

Last time, concern for deficits/debt we were told was a major principle of conservatism, it was echoed everywhere conservatives gathered, but now we see that key dogma was flushed as soon as the opportunity arose. They never beleived it nor had any intent of practicing it, pure demogoguery

And by the way, the Obama Administration reduced discretionary spending the last six years it was in the White House, which was quite an achievement considering it was paying for two wars and a drug prescription program left unaccounted for due to the prior Administration's blundered tax cuts

Try to keep up

Maybe you guys have a history I'm unaware of. I saw nothing at all about race in his OP; just the name of the prior President. Using Clinton, the prior (D) president to Obama, wouldn't have worked in his OP.... Clinton left us holding a surplus when he left office.

I don't know about what ppl here said about Obama during his tenure. I do know what a good many of his opponents on the old Amazon forum said though, and none of it had to do with his policies or principles. Their anti-Obama comments were based on things like his ethnicity, supposed Muslim faith, his features and looks, he-wasn't-all-that-smart-at-Harvard-because-affirmative-action. I call that racist. Others who opposed Obama because of policies, actions, principles, agenda etc were righteous rather than racist.

Does that mean that you are also totally full of shit during all those years you whined about deficits?

Are you daff, it was always suppose to be a major principle of conservatism, a key point, a belief that help define you as a conservative, which we all see now was always bogus

Who controlled Congress those last six years? Same people you are complaining about today

What's funny about this is the complaint the Repubkican Congress was obstructionist and wouldn't let Obama spend more. Now this is what you claim?

If you ever once acknowledged fault with the Democrats, hell or even talked them, you would get a better reception. But just being a total hack gets you nowhere.
