Why? Why should we want just 6 or 7 states, and the handful of large urban areas within them to dominate national elections?
Because that would represent the will of the majority.

No, we are not a democracy. We're a constitutional republic. A pure democracy is a horrific system where one's rights and life is subject completely on how the majority of people feel about you and your racial, social, religious, etc. group, where the majority can oppress the minority with ease.
So you just hate Democrats. That's why you're so fucking irrational. You're only against being oppressed by a minority if it's your fellow wing nuts doing it.
Also, suck my dick, loser.
This is true, we are a moderated democracy, not a pure democracy.
No, I think Democrats are fucking stupid for whining about something they had 50 years to make sure never happened had they cared more about actually protecting that 'right' than about ginning up votes.
don't tell me you agree with Gondwanaland about: A pure democracy is a horrific system where one's rights and life is subject completely on how the majority of people feel about you and your racial, social, religious, etc. group, where the majority can oppress the minority with ease.
No, you lost Roe because Democrats had fucking nearly 50 years to pass a law protecting abortion federally, and failed to fucking do anything because the topic of abortion and the bogeyman of Republicans coming to take it away was too good of a fundraising and support raising issue to actually do anything about.
Every vote in local governments, organizations, unions, and any class goes by majority rules. We call ourselves a democracy. We should become one.
Because the President is President of all Americans. Not just the states.

we have small states and very large states. Our forefathers realize in prefer for small states to have a say and electoral system would work better. And I will remind you that the Senators that you mention are elected by a disproportionate system meaning one man’s vote in one staedoesnot carry the same weight in every other state,
Wrong, we are a Constitutional Federal Republic. We do not directly elect our President, for example, and it's only relatively recently that we began to elect Senators directly.
“We should elect the president the way we elect governors, senators, mayors, representatives, everybody else – whoever gets the most votes wins,” Raskin said. “We spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year exporting American democracy to other countries, and the one thing they never come back to us with is the idea that, ‘Oh, that electoral college that you have, that’s so great, we think we will adopt that too’.”

Fuck off liar
Some 200 million years ago, Antarctica was joined to South America, Africa, India, and Australia in a single large continent called Gondwanaland. There was no ice sheet, and trees and large animals flourished. Today, only geological formations, coal beds, and fossils remain as clues to Antarctica's warm past.
Fuck off liar
Gwanda seems to be less than average IQ, poorly-educated but also has a great lacking of American slang and ideology.
IMO, he's a foreigner...and probably an Aussie.
The Dems did not have to if the Repubs would have left it alone. It sounds like term limits. If you cannot pass laws to stop me, it is your fault.
Many believed Congress did not have that authority.
