Thunberg is asked, “Could you please tell us what you are doing here today? What kind of message would you send to world leaders? Also I’d like to ask you, do you think it’s about time that President Trump would respond to what you have said?”
The girl stutters in response, “Um…I think…I’m sorry, what was the first question?”
Then as he begins to repeat the question she interjects, “The message we want to send is that we’ve had enough.” Then she tries to pass the mic to others seated with her, asking if anyone else would like to answer the question.
No one takes the mic from her or says anything, so then she adds, “I can’t speak on behalf of everyone.”
Once again, no one says a word. Then you can hear another question being asked, although it’s hard to hear what is said. Thunberg responds, “I think maybe you should give some questions to the others as well.”
