WATCH: Combat veterans explain why the assault rifles they used in combat have no business on the streets! I agree with these veterans, as a Vietnam Veteran and user of the M16 too!

Sorry sport but the weapons we carried in Nam and the weapons our young warriors carry today are not the same weapons the public can own or purchase. But nice try at the BS anti-gun lie.

BULL SHIT! I'm going with those 'radicals' at Wikipedia. Besides, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck but you call it a parakeet, it's still a DUCK.

Since 2010, AR-15 style rifles have become one of the "most beloved and most vilified rifles" in the United States, according to the New York Times.[4] It has been promoted as "America's rifle" by the National Rifle Association. It has also been the weapon used in many of the largest mass shootings in the United States,[4] and is often legally classified as an "assault weapon" due to its "military features", removal of which allowed some makes to be classified as "sporting".[5]

The Colt AR-15 is a lightweight, 5.56×45mm, magazine-fed, gas-operated semi-automatic rifle. It was designed to be manufactured with the extensive use of aluminum alloys and synthetic materials. It is a semi-automatic version of the United States military M16 rifle. Colt's Manufacturing Company currently uses the AR-15 trademark for its line of semi-automatic AR-15 rifles that are marketed to civilian and law-enforcement customers.

Hey idiots

Is this a real .45 that an Army Sargent may carry on hip or is it a BB gun that looks like a .45 that an Army Sargent may carry on hip?

[FONT=Roboto, arial, sans-serif]What is the difference between a M4, a M16, or a AR-15? The short and sweet answer is this...... M16 is larger than the m4 but they are both pretty much exactly the same. Most of these have automatic firing while the AR platform only has semi-automatic because it's the civilian version of the m16 model. And the muzzle velocity are all over 3,000 feet per second too! Nobody is arguing the AR15 isn't the weapon of choice in mass shootings. My argument is the AR15 IS NOT the same weapon as an M 16 because it is not a fully automatic switchable weapon. Tell me is the Ruger mini 14
27e2b6e6d19211498835d1a55721ab94.jpg any less deadly than an AR 15? It doesn't look evil but it is basically the exact same weapon.

Hey stupid fucks

The .17 Remmington has a velocity over 4000fps. What's your point?

Just my opinion, but these modified military-style assault weapons are basically just penis extenders.

If I am genuinely concerned about home defense against intruders - or zombies! - the weapon of choice for close-quarters firepower, not requiring a lot of aiming, is a shotgun Period, end of story.
