Warren passes Biden, takes the lead in prized Iowa poll

Sen. Elizabeth Warren surged to first place in a respected poll of likely Iowa caucus-goers released on Saturday.

The poll is the first from the Des Moines Register, together with CNN and Mediacom, to put the two-term Massachusetts Democrat in the lead, at 22 percent. Former vice president Joe Biden, who led the Register’s June poll, fell by 3 percentage points to a close 20 percent, putting the two in a statistical tie, far in front of the rest of the field. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) slipped 5 percentage points to a distant third, at 11 percent.

The September survey is the first by the Register in the 2020 cycle not to put Biden in the lead in the first-in-the-nation contest, which will take place in February. The closely watched results arrive as Warren builds momentum with immense crowds, including 20,000 in Manhattan earlier this week.

Good for Liz Warren and who did not see this coming. Biden is a good guy with some baggage but many knew it would begin shaking out this way.

Biden still beats Trump by a far wider margin than Warren and Sanders put together plus a few more of them.

That will count for a lot when it comes down to who becomes the candidate.

No. Biden has and is nothing. He's an enabling Republican. We need a move forward from Southern Democrat GOP enabler, little bitches. He's small minded blue dog, trying to work with idiot fascist, called the GOP.
We need either Sanders or Warren, doesn't matter which one, they are moving in alignment with the current authentic world, not the corporate enablers or the corps whores. That
is where this is going. Warren is the detailed and softer side of Sanders but don't get blinded, these two are real old school progressive movement.

It's sad to see how far left progressives are so gullible they actually believe Warren or Sanders would be able to keep their ridiculous, empty promises.

Even if one of those two could beat Trump (they can't) their bullshit agenda would be rendered DOA by the Republican obstructionists in the Senate. Then the moron progressives who put them in office will look as stupid and gullible as the morons on the extremist right who believed Trump's bullshit promises and put him in office.

Biden is a solid, experienced leader and HE is the one who lives in the real world, not Bernie or Lizzy. Ergo, he doesn't need gimmicks and phony, empty promises about free everything for everybody that only gullible fools believe will ever happen.

There are too many dumb people in this country on both sides who need to grow the fuck up and stop believing all these feel-good lies out of politicians who know how to push their buttons and play them for chumps.

And I don't hate Biden but the reality is in that video and it is time to finally move forward and salvage what we can and mitigate the damage that has been done. Yes...the establishment Dems enabled this.
