VP responsible for the bud light boycott is out

I know what I said. And I repeated it after you pretended that the word 'literally' meant the same thing as "quote/unquote" (hint: it doesn't). I quoted what she said, and added the literal meaning of the words she put together in the video. Where she told us she wanted to "evolve" the brand away from the current customer base who were "fratty" and "out of touch". Yes, I reported what she literally said.

She never said evolve the brand away from. Not once. What does literally mean to you?

She never said words that mean "away from", if she did, I would agree with you. She in fact said she wanted to grow the brand and be more inclusive... that does not mean away from anyone.

She did not say the base was "out of touch" she said some of Budweiser previous ad's used out of touch humor.

You, and your compatriots are really stretching to justify the false outrage.

Where in that video does she literally say the customers were not good enough? She did say she wanted to add new customers... not exclude the old customer.

Nah, he's explaining why folks who did drink the swill stopped drinking the brand after their VP of Marketing told them they needed to "evolve" a new (better) customer base because the current brand reached out to those (lowlife Bud Light drinking jerks) who are "fratty" with "out of touch humor".

Should they want to continue in that "voice" they can. Nobody suggests that they should go to jail for the "crime" of stupid marketing ploys. My guess is you won't see many VPs acting like Alissa did in the future. It kind of makes for a short employment record.

that is literally not what she said.

Simply noting that evolving does move away from something is yes, describing what she literally said. She said "evolve" multiple times (I believe I counted six) after the first statement. Again, this is a VP of Marketing, one who knows that the brand she represents will absolutely be affected by the words that she says. Her brand of "inclusivity" did not include the current customer base. They felt insulted, demeaned, and dismissed. They acted on that, these words, and what she said.

This ceased to be about Mulvaney when she said these words. Bars took their stock and destroyed it because they could not sell it, they stopped ordering it because nobody was ordering it. This wasn't because of Mulvaney, it was because Alissa said what she said. That you put on rose glasses and "perceive" it how you want notwithstanding. What the folks that were the customer base heard was the VP of Marketing of their favorite beer telling them they were no longer of value to the brand.

Evolve to a more inclusive... That means grow, not exclude. Here she was talking about leaving behind the old exclusive way and including more, not leaving anyone behind. She made the mistake of giving the old base to much credit in believing that they would drink a beer that dared to market to additional groups of people.

Do you have a cite that shows where people were not buying it. I know that is what the regressives are saying, but I doubt its true and I've seen no evidence of a drop in sales.

The Episcopalian Church evolved into a allowing a more inclusive group of people to marry within the church. This does not mean that they no longer allow heterosexuals to get married at the church. They left behind the old exclusive ideology.

I am not misrepresenting anything. I am telling you what people heard when she said these things. Alissa Heinerscheid, as a Marketing Executive, fully understands that her words mean things. Most lawyers also understand this, especially the good ones. What you infer when you speak, especially as a Marketing executive, will be heard.

The reality, this VP of Marketing made it clear what she thought of the customer base, and they returned the favor.

The pansy-assed metrosexual Bud Light drinkers? All of her comments were directed at Bud Light drinkers. Only fucking bigots and hypocrites won't admit they are Bud Light drinkers and offended by her comments.

Heinerscheid, who has worked for Bud Light since June 2022, said in an interview with the Make Yourself at Home Podcast she intended to “evolve and elevate” Bud Light by “having a campaign that’s truly inclusive” in an effort to attract younger consumers. She also said Bud Light was “in a decline for a really long time” and referred to the company’s previous marketing tactics as “fratty” and “out of touch.”

I predicted this would happen but even I'm shocked at how quickly it happened. I never like seeing anyone lose their job but sometimes it's just necessary and I think this is one of those times.

Agreed. This is similar to the fiasco over 'New Coke' and how much it cost Coca-Cola. That VP of marketing was shoved out as well, and Coca-Cola went back to it's 'classic' flavor.

As long as you have VPs in charge of marketing, you're going to have some real boneheads making costly decisions.

Trannies are all around us, waiting to make us gay. Or something like that. But whatever it is, they are the scariest folks around. Thank God Republicans are here to protect us against the Trannies.

But I'm wondering, are trannies a new thing?

No. It is perversion all the same.

So a Christian Church decide to leave Christianity. Gotit.

That was marketing genius. People horded the "old" Classic Coke when it was announced the "New" (that sucked) Coke was released. Sales soared for Classic. Then a re-release increasing sales again. They've been alright since despite the sugar drink boycott by the healthy eating group.

Yet you are dictating to a company how to market products you just admitted you don't use.

If a Lefty did that, what would you call it?

No, I'm not. I'm saying what they did was utterly stupid, but to be expected from a VP who holds Leftist views, ideas, and values. If there is one thing almost as certain as the sun coming up tomorrow in the East, it is that you let a Leftist impose their ideas on society in general and it will end badly for everyone.

I actually liked the "New" Coke. They should have introduced it, and sold it as an alternative to their original version rather than replace one with the other. They might have gotten more sales that way. Those that liked the old product could still buy it. Those that liked the new but not necessarily the old--it was a damn sight better than Pepsi--could buy the new version.

In what way did this marketing person impose her views on society?

Most loyal Classic Coke drinkers didn't care for the New coke. There was also a gap between when the New was releases and the Classic was re-introduced. Yeah, it was still better than Pepsi.

Not my point. Introducing "New" Coke as a new product in addition to the classic would have succeeded brilliantly. Replacing one with the other was the height of stupidity.
