Trump's not campaigning, and I find it refreshing that we have politicians in Congress who are prepared to do what they believe is right regardless of short-term polling trends.

See you after the midterms!

Thanks for emphasizing and highlighting that more people overall will blame Republicans in Congress, blame Trump, or blame both of them for any economic fallout.

Trump is not up for election. the congressional mid terms are fast approaching - and democrats get more blame than republicans

and you being the dumb guy in the room is cheering this as a positive?

the democrats are toxic. you need to get out of your echo chamber. America is not believing the shit your buddies on MSNBC and their ilk are peddling any longer
It's extremely funny that you believe congressional Republicans will be protected and insulated from Trump's approval rating and performance in the 2026 midterms.

Democrats take a huge hit and the overall the overall atmosphere is negative to Dems. All that has to happen is Dems agree to a clean CR and we're back in business. The longer it goes in etnit gets worse for Dems.

I mean, even half of the trumptard population can do basic math - Repubulicans have not just 1 but all 3 chambers of government. Mike Johnson is keeping Republicans out of DC for fear he'll actually have to deal honestly.

This is a Republican shutdown, period!
