Trump's not campaigning, and I find it refreshing that we have politicians in Congress who are prepared to do what they believe is right regardless of short-term polling trends.

Trump is not up for election. the congressional mid terms are fast approaching - and democrats get more blame than republicans

Democrats take a huge hit and the overall the overall atmosphere is negative to Dems. All that has to happen is Dems agree to a clean CR and we're back in business. The longer it goes in etnit gets worse for Dems.
