The thing is those idiots that blame trump have no fucking clue how govt works. They also would hate anything trump does so their opinion is like leftism in general, useless.
Trump himself said back in 2013 that an American president should always be blamed for a government shutdown because it shows lack of leadership.

You believe the influence and authority of the president of the United States is only equal to that of one congressman from Wisconsin or Indiana?
All the Republicans have to do is reinstate the healthcare subsidies so millions of people will not see their healthcare premiums double overnight.
The GOP can be blamed completely for the shutdown.
All spending bills are supposed to start in the House. There are 13 annual appropriation bills that are supposed to be passed before Oct 1. Of the 13 appropriation bills, the House has only passed 3 of them. The House has been on vacation for 10 of the last 13 weeks.

Most of those are the idiots who blame trump when it rains. Unlike i tend to ignore the opinion of insane people. People with brains recognize Dems are opposing a clean CR which is what's keeping the govt shut down. Why would the party that claims to care so much about the American people not want to pass a celan CR?
