Getting off topic but, ... some colleges put caps on the number of white students allowed. Where's the liberal outrage?

The left knows MILO and our ilk are RIGHT on every issue. So instead of having an honest and intellectual debate (They can't); its much easier to simply shut him down with violence.

This is a tactic used often by the fascist left. It was a great tool used by Stalin, and Mao. Kill off all your dissidents, then you don't have to bother arguing.

The left is done debating. They want subjugation through violence.

This is what socialism and liberalism take over of college campuses has produced. A severe limitation of free speech; no more thought or free expression; and the use of Gustoppo/Stalinist tactics against your "enemies." \

Disgusting human beings these liberal campuses are creating. End federal funding NOW!

It's not because they disagree with me, it's because their policies, ideology and actions dictate that. So yea, it works for me.

Know the difference. Just because YOU say it doesn't work anymore doesn't make it so.

Keep your racist hate speech to those who want to hear it.

You're demonstrating the behavior of a racist if you support the shutting down of free speech on a college campus.

Women drop out of science and maths in alarming numbers, not because there are sinister and mysterious patriarchal forces at play, but because they either can’t cut it in highly competitive environments or they simply change their minds about what they want from life.

Even women who graduate with good degrees in science subjects often don’t use them: they switch careers in their twenties, abandoning the hard sciences. In some cases, they simply drop out of the workforce altogether. This is a disaster for the men who missed out on places, and it’s a criminal waste of public funds.
That’s why I think there ought to be a cap on the number of women enrolling in the sciences, maths, philosophy, engineering… and perhaps medicine and the law, too. It’s hugely expensive to train a doctor, but women have something like a third of the career of a man in medicine, despite having equal access to Harvard Med. Women make up the majority of medical students.
Competition for places at the best colleges is ferocious, especially in these highly competitive subjects. As Grossman admits, women don’t cope well in competitive environments, so even if they get onto the courses, they often drop out when one day a book like this lands on their desk, or when their grades start slipping.

The freedom to express a personal opinion gets your goat? Every one is allowed free speech as long as you agree with that speech? What happened to the every essence of free speech, 'I may not agree with your speech...but I will defend to the death your right to express it openly without fear of reprisal.'? Liberalism my ass....that's totalitarianism any way you wish to express the horseshit the left is peddling. Why does the left fear free and open speech?

If you don't agree with this character, simply present your retort and do it in such a matter as to present facts in evidence and objective testable research. That silences falsehood better than attempting to use force to shut down the opposition's ability to speak....that makes you look like a fascist.

I was having breakfast last weekend at a local spot in a very liberal area where I reside. There was a group of four young adults who were chatting at the table next to us. They were talking openly about being paid protesters by George Soros' organization and spoke about a fairly big protest in our area they were paid to participate in.

Once they were done, they were invited to a swanky dinner where champagne and caviar was everywhere and the catered dinner was fabulous. They are bussed to and from the event and paid for their participation. Signs are also provided. Printed as well as handmade signs participants make from materials provided.

We asked them what they were protesting and they claim it's all about deligitimizing President Trump and his Admin. They were local and hooked up with the Soros Organization through local Dem chapters and word of mouth and all to earn extra money, eat good food, and just take a ride to wherever they're needed.

They say pretty much every major city has a connection to Soros' organization and they outreach to other cities and counties for recruiting.

Initially I was surprised, despite hearing this story several times on the Internet, and now I just want to expose it.

That's part of it.

I think what's really set them off is that Trump showed (in the most glaring manner possible) that their old "Racist, sexist, anti-gay go away" go-to lines simply don't work any more.

The American people elected an imbecilic unqualified pamphleteer from Chicago just so they could have their first African American president and hopefully put this crap behind us and move forward.

But no, it only made things worse.

Now the only card left is violence.

And that sure as shyte ain't gonna work.

Went to Kal game last night so was on campus. I did not feel like I was in a safe space and my opinions would be respected.

I was micro aggressioned

I've written before about going to see Sista Souljah speak on campus in 1992. This was at the peak of notoriety and after Bill Clinton had called her out for hate speech during his campaign. She was controversial but I enjoyed hearing her speak. No one forced me to go and no one protested her presence. It's what college is about.

The problem inherent in that is that people would no longer see the speakers are the cartoon caricatures they want to portray them as.

Whether it's Louis Farakhan or David Duke, if a college gave either one of them an hour to speak the audience would gasp at how they don't fit the perception the media has created of them.

And that would not be productive for progressivism

Too bad you didn't get a video of your chat.

Whether I agree with it is kind of not the point.

It's a college campus for crying out loud. Isn't college where you're supposed to *open your mind* to new ideas or debate the ideas you don't like.

Colleges should be the most open of all open forums---even, no especially, for ideas that run counter to dogma or conventional wisdom.

And the left wants to shut it down with riots. Why don't you defend THAT.
Left intolerance for speakers/ideas outside of their dogma is particularly odious on college campuses
for reasons why you mention here

Remember when Liberty University didn't allow a campus Democratic organization? How about Bob Jones or Brigham Young, are they allowing progressives and liberals to speak?

The students didn't riot. Breitbart sent their usual group to start the violence in order to make Berkley look bad.

You're too young to remember Kent State. That's what college is all about.
