New Jersey's interesting. The last time they voted for a Republican Presidential candidate was H.W. Bush in 1988. The last time they elected a Republican Senator was 1972.

But they have voted for Republican Governors. In the 21st Century Democrats have controlled the Governorship 16 out of the 24 years. So 2/3rds of the time.

So you are correct, it's not fait accompli that a Democrat will win the Governorship. But it's clearly in the Democrats favor. I’m sure party insiders will be watching how close the race ends up to gauge enthusiasm.

I want to defer to you since you live there, but I looked it up and what I found was the last Republican Senator was elected in 1972. That was they year of my birth, 53 years ago. How is it possible they've had as many Republican Senators as Democratic Senators in that time?

I have thought about that...it does seem to be the primary focus when it comes to harassment...But that's so silly...they have a copy of my credentials...

It has always struck me as odd how MAGAts living in Ohio, Texas and Florida are so bothered by what's happening in California or New York but don't give a shit about other states, much less their own.

Speaking of which, I haven't seen much about ‘Ron DeSanctimonious’ lately.

And this isn't your traditional Democratic-Republican race. This is an establishment Dem vs a socialist Dem which is why it's drawing so much attention. A high profile race like helps determine how the Democratic party defines itself. It's why so many people in the party are speaking out.
