Unintended Consequences

It's a wonderful crossroads for Republicans. And one that everyone saw coming miles away.

Being loyal to Trump - in the way he defines loyalty - is at direct odds with being a "principled conservative." Sure, once in awhile he gives his minions an "easy button" on stuff like the wall and cutting taxes. But more often than not, he'll lead them down a rabbit hole that they don't really want to spend time in.

His stance on Putin is the ultimate version of that. Most of these politicians grew up with one model for conservatism: Ronald Reagan. And Trump's effusive praise of Putin & this action, as well as exclamations along the lines of "he likes me!", really tests that old Reagan loyalty.

It's great to see guys like Hawley try to toe that thin line, while riding a unicycle & juggling at the same time.

Why are you idiots so obsessed with pooty poot’s pedingding?....

Translation: Nothing to see here. It's perfectly natural for a great, powerful man like Pedo Don to blow a foreign dictator if there's a lot of money to be made. It's just business.

Thanks for the update.

Of course, the JPP MAGA crowd has barely been able to contain their excitement about Putin's war impacting the American economy. But what is really happening? I see a split in the GOP.

Notably, JD Vance, one of the biggest GOP phonies, and that's saying something, said he doesn't give one fuck about Ukraine. But oh, wait, days later, and now he does care deeply about Ukraine.

The insurrectionist, Josh Howley, suddenly came out against the invasion yesterday.

Fifth Columnist, Tucker Carlson, last night said Putin must be punished.

So what's really happening?

Trump is still sucking Putin cock, and many of his MAGA traitors are doing the same. Traitors like Flynn, and Bannon of course, and some elected GOP crazies, along with other crazies running for office on the GOP ticket.

Just how much Putin cock are American voters able to stomach sucking?

Remember every time you point a finger there's three more pointing back at you. I see a GOP split, and I see trouble. Because Trump, called upon to make a personal sacrifice, will always choose to sacrifice the world instead. The world. So sacrificing the GOP is a very small ask for him.

Let's see just how well the GOP does with Putin's boy Trump out there in the midterms, and then 2024 looms.

Dems in disarray? Who's really in disarray? Remember Lindsey Graham, back before Daddy McCain died and so he still had some guts, said that if the GOP elected trump the party would be destroyed, and they would deserve it. Not every train arrives on time. But eventually, they still come down that track. Laugh now, cry later. A tale as old as time.

you forgot the Bush (shrub) and his warmongering when the neocons were persusive for Repubs
Trump tossed out the old warmongers - most landed in the Dems or just oblivion.
Why Liz Cheney hates Trump as well ( her father is a neocon)
Trump was a reaction to Shrub, not Reagan

LOL It really pains you to see your hero besmirched, doesn't it Callie? LOL

It's long been an American tradition to bitch about the President and Congress...until 2016 when it became verboten by people like you. Go figure.

Sorry, but while I agree it was backlash and while I agree it was the White Supremacist Right pushing it, the backlash was more against Democratic policies than Obama himself.

What "treachery" is that? Acknowledging Pres. Moron's idiocy and weakness?

THAT is what will "not be forgotten in November"....BIGTIME.
Praising the enemy in a time of war. Praising strongarm dictators. Praising a violent aggressor invading a peaceful country.

If you weren't blinded by all the Trump cum in your eyes, you might see that the United States and our Constitution should transcend domestic politics.

kaffer-kicker;

The US and the Constitution ARE domestic politics, you posing racist prick

Unintended Consequences

In August 2020, Zelensky withdrew Ukraine from the pro-Palestinian UN committee, ceasing to oppose the illegal occupation of Palestine, something his predecessors had maintained up until then.

O, the irony

Haw, haw, haw, haw.......................haw, haw............................haw.

Trump was white backlash to Obama. Period. Idiot.
LMAO

seriously -why dont you just phone it in and dont bother to ever look at anything beyond your Woke ideology.
You have a knee jerk mind

Trump increased the minority vote both elections - more so even in 2020 after his "racist" term

It was white suburban women that swung for and against him ( morons like yourself)
that bought us the Bungler in Chief Biden in Delaware today

What I can't figure out is, what is moon's game? One of the most fervent fans of an authoritarian Russian imperialist! moon seems to think that Putin has the right to invade neighboring countries if he judges that they threaten his hegemony or may do in future. WTH?

You mean like Israel invading Palestine, Tranquilizer.

Haw, haw, haw..................................haw, haw................................haw.

oh lookie, moon and annie defending Putin again

what a shocker

nah, they're not Putin apologists or actual Putin employees!......ridiculous! lol

Nailed it again.
TY. they dont understand popularism because the left are fascist's who support de-platforming political speech
Biden would never get "America Fist" because he is a globalist who still thinks we can have honest competition with China

Looks like our Cultish Putin-lovers are sleeping off last night's vodka bash.

They are overjoyed about recent events. Even if it damages our own economy, much less the world's, if it makes Biden look bad they're all for it.
They are hoping that the extension of trump's failed policies, which always carry over to the next administration, will get worse for Biden.
They took actions to extend the trump virus, even though there are many vaccines that could have ended same.

They secretly celebrate high gasoline prices, while publicly denouncing Biden for the fact that trump encouraged American oil producers to slash production.

They complain about supply chain issues, while championing trump's trade war against the world.

Yep...it must be the vodka.
