Of course, the JPP MAGA crowd has barely been able to contain their excitement about Putin's war impacting the American economy. But what is really happening? I see a split in the GOP.

Notably, JD Vance, one of the biggest GOP phonies, and that's saying something, said he doesn't give one fuck about Ukraine. But oh, wait, days later, and now he does care deeply about Ukraine.

The insurrectionist, Josh Howley, suddenly came out against the invasion yesterday.

Fifth Columnist, Tucker Carlson, last night said Putin must be punished.

So what's really happening?

Trump is still sucking Putin cock, and many of his MAGA traitors are doing the same. Traitors like Flynn, and Bannon of course, and some elected GOP crazies, along with other crazies running for office on the GOP ticket.

Just how much Putin cock are American voters able to stomach sucking?

Remember every time you point a finger there's three more pointing back at you. I see a GOP split, and I see trouble. Because Trump, called upon to make a personal sacrifice, will always choose to sacrifice the world instead. The world. So sacrificing the GOP is a very small ask for him.

Let's see just how well the GOP does with Putin's boy Trump out there in the midterms, and then 2024 looms.

Remember Lindsey Graham, back before Daddy McCain died and so he still had some guts, said that if the GOP elected trump the party would be destroyed, and they would deserve it. I ban no one from this thread, and invite you all to show your asses. Unlike some, I'm not being paid to post - I have to work for a living! And times are crazzzzy at Costco right now. As some of you know I was promoted to assistant-to-the-assistant store manager last year, so I have a lot on my plate as you can imagine, and next week is the big Costco Employee Morale Summit. Giving Putin all = 'owning the libs,' so no big suprprise.

In this case, giving away a free-elected democracy of 44 million people, no problem. Those who don't care about others are certainly not going to care about the 44 million.

I saw pictures of people with nice clothes driving nice cars, all in a line to get out with whatever they could grab, after having left everything behind. They go from living a free and productive American-type lifestyle to being day-to-day refugees with nothing. No home, no shelter, no food, no medicine, no nothing. Their phones useless.

And this is what Trump supports.

He was truly the abominable president.

What I can't figure out is, what is moon's game? One of the most fervent fans of an authoritarian Russian imperialist! moon seems to think that Putin has the right to invade neighboring countries if he judges that they threaten his hegemony or may do in future. WTH?

I will never understand why Zelenskyy played down the threat. He said he didn't want to create panic. But that has left the nation unprepared to defend itself fully. They should have been preparing for war.

It's just like what happened with Crimea. Those Ukrainian ships did not have to get handed over to Russia. They should have been sailed into safer waters ahead of that incursion. Now, ships which were once Ukrainian ships will be used against them in this further onslaught.

Publicly asking for calm while also having his military prepare is okay. Asking them to flee before an invasion is simple capitulation like the French did when the Germans marched through.

I don't believe it's that simple

as the GOP fractures they lose power locally as well. even a relatively small number of disenfranchised Trumpers could very well sit out an election if a MAGA kook is their only alternative. one thing is for sure - Trump's not going anywhere and it's too late to stop the bleeding

He might have thought a full scale Ukrainian mobilization would have given the duplicitous barbarian Vladimir Putin a pretext for a preemptive strike.

Hard to know what's going on right now, but some reports are saying the Ukranians are putting up a stiffer resistance than Putin expected.
