U.S. Women’s Hockey Team Turns Down Trump Invite to State of the Union

The men's team was there... If not in person in spirit.... The women's tea... Who actually knows how that went down...lthough they were invited prior to the men being invited.... And to Coordinate the travel and the time it would have taken cooperation of everyone on the team.... They were offered transportation and accommodations , and everything necessary for them to get back the next day....Choices have consequences....

Translation: the men decided on their own, but the women had their decision made for them.

That's standard White Nationalist ideology.
Keeping this one for posterity... Dunkle thinks he's a JeanYUS... Here he is grabbing a shovel and digging a deeper hole thinking that he's found the way out.

Are you denying it, Damo? You assumed the men made their individual decisions, but I haven't seen evidence that the women were forced to submit to a group decision. Did I miss something?

Denying what? That you think team pressure and team decisions made by women are the result of White Supremacy? That's on you homeslice.

No. Like the men, I think they made the decision as a team, not the way you claim it was made.

That said, if you have evidence the women were forced to stay away from the WH, I'd love to see it.

Why wouldn't the women want to go? It was a tremendous opportunity.... To be celebrated along with the men... They blamed scheduling reasons et cetera ...That was an excuse because they were given the opportunity Transportation and and accommodations that would have allowed them to be back home the next day.... I think the captain said no and that was it... I've never seen a statement from the group collectively that they all agreed....

They pressured folk. Imagine if you were on the women's team and went after they publicly made the political point. It would take massive courage to buck the trend in that case. IMHO they took away options from the team by making a political decision for them instead of simply allowing them to decide if they wanted to go or not. Men who chose not to go were not pressured to go... but the women were pressured to present a united front and were expected to walk the line.

Yeah, it’s this thing called a team.

Yeah, it’s this thing called a team.
And it's this thing called political agenda. Such decisions should not be pressured onto people. Again. Only one team pressured the outcome, creating an environment where no option other than the one that fit their agenda would do, and it wasn't the men.

You better step in line, if you disagree you will be publicly shamed, hated, reviled....
