U.S. Representative: Tea Parties "Despicable" And "Shameful"
Thursday, Apr 16, 2009 @04:38pm CST
(Washington, DC) -- U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky labeled yesterday's nationwide "tea party" protests as "despicable" and "shameful." The Democratic lawmaker from Illinois said the tea parties held by right-wing activists were fueled by FOX News Channel and were an effort to, quote, "mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates three-point-five million jobs." Schakowsky told "The Hill" newspaper it's despicable that Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant and honorable moment in American history with a shameful political stunt.
She emphasized not a single American household or business will be taxed at a higher rate this year.
(We Are All Fucked Next Year)
Schakowsky said the protests were made to look like a grassroots uprising but were really an Obama bashing party promoted by corporate interests as well as Republicans lobbyists and politicians.
LOL
This from the lady whose husband was sent to prison for tax violations and bank fraud. I must have been at the wrong party, I did not see one effigy of Obama with a noose around his neck and then torched on fire. Too bad the libtards can't say that, every time they held a protest they would torch a hanging Bush and danced around the fire like little faries.
Anybody that does not believe their taxes will go up to pay for all this massive spending are just fooling themselves.
