Twitter Dives By $5 Billion After Banning Trump

Wow! Now Trump's most ardent supporters are turning their backs on him. Trump is really falling into the abyss. Everybody is renouncing him and nobody still supports him.
These last few days of the Trump era are going great. He's becoming a Pariah. He's radioactive. He'll be going out with one of the worst approval ratings and Americans are calling him a Traitor and Insurrectionist.

I never thought this would be so much fun watching him fall like this. I wish it would continue another few weeks but I guess it's better to get the Orange Turd out of office and get President Biden in so we can Make America Sane Again.

Hallucination.

Twitter has not lost a penny. It is like talking about people who lost millions when the market drops. They lose nothing unless they sell. They sit it out until it comes back.
Trump was banned for lying and stirring up rioters. That is a company decision. Rightys love to say companies have power when they ban gays or want to pressure the staff to act according to their religion. Bit if it is against a righty, it is suddenly bad.

Hallucination.

of course it is, retard. you only fool yourself with your "noble defense of corporate rights".

No, it isn't. The 1st amendment prohibits the federal government from passing laws restricting free speech, or any religion, or condoning any religion as a state religion. It does not affect the States.

Of course, the current government no longer recognizes the Constitution of the United States. It is being changed into an oligarchy by the Democrats so they can implement their fascism.

are corporations people?

Yes. Corporations are conspiracies of people, established as a single business or enterprise under the laws of their respective States. The corporate bylaws essentially act as a constitution of that corporation. That constitution is owned by the founders and those people investing in that corporation.

corporations are acting as a de facto public square in these instances, and should be diisallowed from exercizing moderation more strict than government.

we value free speech as a society.

why do you look for these bad arguments to justify totalitarian fascism?

The 1st amendment applies to Congress, and limits what Congress can and cannot do. It does not apply to anyone else.

Of course, the current government in Washington DC no longer recognizes the Constitution of the United States. I call it the SOA now.

We should spend a moment on reality, before returning to Alt Right fantasies.

Twitter is worth more than it was a month and a half ago.

230 changed all that.

be for freedom, nazi.

They are legal entities, true. They are, however, made up of individuals. Individuals have individual rights as specified in the bylaws of that corporation, such as how the officers are chosen, and who comprises the board of directors. A corporation is a conspiracy of people, just like any business or enterprise with more than one person. Most corporations are quite small, made up of family members and/or friends, never growing much beyond a few dozen employees.

Not all corporations are criminal or are part of organized crime. What makes you think they are? Why this bigoted attitude?
