Seems Joke has started an unnecessary and irrelevant shit storm with Turkey over his Armenian genocide statements. His trying to score moral points with the Left is coming back PDQ like a pit bull to bite him in the ass. With all the other stuff going on, all the fuck ups like the border he's already created, why the hell did he go out of his way to create a new one with Turkey?

Where the hell did that conclusion come from? I support a rational and reasoned US foreign policy. What does the US gain from Biden's announcement? How does it improve our relations with anyone or any nation?

The answer is it doesn't, and now we're seeing Turkey get all butt hurt over opening this wound again and that bodes badly for US - Turkish relations and our ability to get anything done in the Middle East.

As for supporting "genocide," Turkey isn't currently committing genocide anywhere. What the Ottoman Empire did over a century ago is history. You can't seem to get that past the vacuum between your senses and brain...

Everything. That's not what Biden's statement was about. He castigated Turkey over something that happened over a century ago under an entirely different government ruling far more land than Turkey does today, in the middle of a vicious war, the Ottoman Empire. Biden isn't slamming Turkey for some current genocide. If that's his desire, there's Myanmar where one is going on right now.
