Thanks and will do. It's part of the entertainment for me. Others get off on lying or just lapping up whatever their hyper-partisan sources feed them, but I really do enjoy the challenge of separating fact from fiction, proof from opinion.

OTOH, you can do like I did and make this statement: I give full permission to all mods to reveal any secondary accounts AKA Sock Puppets, to all members of this forum. Can you do that?

No doubt you are correct, but we still have over 3 months to go. Herman Cain died in less than a month after catching COVID-19. The same can happen to Trump and/or Biden.

It's certainly possible. Can't be ruled out. Not very likely. The available major party candidates are quite clear at this point.

Agreed...but it would be a total cluster fuck. First, it'd take up to a month for one or both to die, so probably no earlier than the end of August.

Second, almighty Congress would spend at least a week if not two jerking off their fellow party members and the public deciding whether to change the date and/or how to allow what names on the ballot. I don't know if they have a Plan B for this contingency (a candidate dying close to election day) but it would, without a doubt, it would make herding cats look easy.

Lastly, being America, at least a small percentage of Americans will be pissed off about the decision and start loudly protesting it.
Even if it's only 1%, in a population of over 250M voting Americans, that's 2.5M whiners. That's a lot of whining....just like we have now. :)
