Tucker Carlson: representing the working man against the Elites

Now that Biden cut into some of that working class support our liberal posters will have to live with those deplorable uneducated hicks they have been attacking for four years.
You're conflating two different demographics. Biden did get BACK a good portion of non college educated white men in key states. Still not a majority across the nation. But many of the idiots who voted for trump in '16, never followed politics before. The union workers were always Democrats.

Nobody 'cut into' working class men but trump in '16.

I watched Steve Schmidt, former McCain campaign advisor being interviewed today. He said that Tucker's positioning himself for a presidential run in 2024. I wasn't sure if he was kidding or not, I don't think he was!
Good. Jr will be his VP.

Given all of the mail in this year the exit polling is certain crap, and lets be honest their work lately has been generally crap.

Figuring out exactly what happened and why is going to be hard to not happening.

The parties have done a major realignment that rarely happens, if you dont know both this and that the ramifications are tremendously important than you are not worth talking to.

Something I believe that I have noticed previously.

You keep saying that but you keep talking to me. Why?

Wait, union workers were always Democrats? Nordberg claimed the other day he worked with Michigan unions and many/most of them were right-wing deplorables. Which is it?

Yeah, no kidding. I'm watching Tucker Carlson talk about how the Democrats are taking the place of the ruling Elite and that conservatives are the last defender of the working class.

Seriously.

Democrats have shot themselves in the foot by supporting the Importation of Third World Labor to replace and compete with American Labor.

At least he is no longer wearing a bow tie... Carlson has had a long history of hating the working class. He claims they are stealing from the elite by having rights. He really drank the Ayn Rand Koolaid.

Unions were traditionally Democrat, but the Republicans broke unionism in the 80s. The "right to work" low IQ Beta Males supported their "champions".

Tucker, like all of them, is a showman. He's entertainment mixed with a few facts.

Do you really believe the American people enjoy the drama that much?

No, sir. Not me! I can't wait for the day when my phone news alert rings and I don't say to myself, "Oh, fuck! What now?"

I think that a small portion of trump supporters were irritated by trump's horseshit but tolerated it. I think a large portion enjoyed trump's criminal behavior angering his political opponents (based on my observation of some of the folks in these discussion forums).

Michigan didn't become a Right To Work state until 2012. Nordberg was talking years/decades before that that the union workers were right-wing deplorables.

He flunked out of boarding school for being "too smart" to learn French.

Oh believe me the story of how it was Tucker who figured out what was going on when everyone was lying and a lot of people were selling America out for personal profit...and then he said "Fuck this , I need to say something in spite of what the evil forces will try to do to me" is fascinating.

Are you denying the concept has been at work since the 1980s?

Michigan, especially Detroit, was a bastion of Democrat unionism. The fact Michigan flipped red for Trump proves unionism is dead in America.
The Republicans killed it.

Where am I denying anything? Two contradictory statements were made. One stating Michigan union workers were always Democrats and one stating most were right-wing deplorables. Elements of each of those statements can be true. I'm not familiar with Detroit car unions so I don't claim to know the answer.

A third POV is that they weren't Democrats. How many voters in 2016 voted for Trump simply because he wasn't Hillary? How many 2016 voters refused to vote simply because they wouldn't vote for Trump or Hillary?

The fact the 2020 election, as they have been for the past few, is very tight because most Americans do not agree with either party.
