Trump wants to impose work requirement for food stamp users

As I already pointed out, the interstate road system needs massive amounts of refurbishment and upgrading. The states are unwilling to pay for it, so CFM st al will have to pony up for roads they'll never use.

you're worried about the connection between poverty and the climate but want there to be a connection between poverty and potholes?......

Well you would say that, wouldn't you? If you cannot see a causal link between poverty and crime then it is pointless even talking to you. They felt like that in Victorian times where you could be transported to Australia for stealing some bread, sounds like that puritan streak is still strong over there.

Milagro, the problem is that many of the U.S. "poor" who are criminals are not stealing bread or any food. They're going for big ticket items such as tech toys, cars, rims, giant flat screen TV's or shoplifting clothes, handbags, salon products, etc. Some of those things are sold to acquire cash for nonsense items $20 pizzas to be delivered to their homes every night. I haven't eaten out or ordered in for maybe the last 8 years.

I worked at Florida State Dept. of Health for 4 years. I've seen the waste of taxpayer money first hand. Many of them live in their subsidized housing and drive new Cadillac Escalades to get their "free" healthcare, "free" food at the grocery stores. I worked in the accounting dept. doing the billing. Every day I spent hours on data entry entering the latest patients info including all the "free" delivery of babies. In Florida the hospital stay and delivery charge was $1200. All day long I was typing $1200 to be paid for by all of us taxpayers. Then I'd come home and cry because the whole reason I never had kids was because I knew I couldn't afford to. Instead, I realized that all my entire working life I'd been paying for everybody else's kids. So, I guess the joke was on me.

Just to be clear, it's one thing to need help during a temporary loss of employment, family crisis or weather-related disaster. It's another to be intentionally and systematically ripping off the working class for generations...and with no apparent end in site. I hope you understand...maybe it's different in the U.K., but this is what's been going on here for about the last 70 years.

Want our roads to last longer? Here's the answers.

1. Enforce our laws and kick out the 40 million illegals

2. Lower speed limits back to 55

Now we have forty million illegals?

Is there anything you won't blame on illegals &/or minorities?

You think bridges wil stop rusting if we just get rid or them....:palm:

Many Americans opposed paying for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which to date have cost at least $6 trillion. As to denying that there is no link between poverty and crime is just specious bullshit.

Then you should be able to link up and cite.

Hey dumbass, who payed for them then?

I fail to see what relevance climate change has to welfare, terrorism and poverty. Are you saying that there is some kind of link? I have always maintained that politics should play absolutely no part in climate science, unfortunately it does. To my mind, the scientific method is always the same and is not subject to the whims of politicians.

The science isn't political, but the issue sure as hell is, and that too is a shame. I mean, not any more political than any science which includes everything from office politics, the reciprocal backscratching entailed in paper review and grant review process, the appropriation and lobbying for government monies and the spending by government agencies on contractors. There are research scientists employed by the government who are closely aligned with the DoD, pentagon and military branches, and I wager 80% or more are Republicans. Is their science political? Ice core samples are no more political than rocket telemetry.

Hey dumbass, who payed for them then?

Dick Cheney promised the Iranians would pay because we would take the oil as a setoff. He fucking lied. Instead we went around shocking, aweing, blowing things up to settle a vendetta, enrich Haliburton, and handed out billions in untraceable cash on the street for the fleeting allegiance of tribal clans, warlords and Baathist terrorists, all courtesy of the Republican administration. Fucks.

No, you are trolling, I'm discussing the IRS code with precision and noting the deductibility dollar for dollar of supposed charitable contributions to churches, also noting that the money spent does not go to the poor, but mostly to brick and mortar, insurance, salary and whatever nice things the congregation would like to enjoy at their Sunday morning w.a.s.p. social club. Money to a church is not equivalent to giving to the poor, as has been supposed by your redneck brethren here in the USA. I'm so far above you you have a nosebleed and your platelet count is low.

Continue trolling, worthless idiot.

Actually there Paralegal, you are just talking out your ass like you always do. You show consistently you know nothing about the law, so all of the sudden you are a tax expert. GTFOH. It is bloviating fools like yourself that make people not take liberals seriously anymore. Now, that being put to rest, instead of just talking out your anus, how about you back up your bullshit with some reliable documentation?
