I support anyone feeding the poor. But I support churches supporting themselves. And I support the churchgoers thinking themselves out of their ignorant churches. Why should atheists have to subsidize delusional cults?

You forgot to mention that the IRS allows you to deduct dollar for dollar every dollar you CLAIM you put in the offering tray up to 50% of your AGI. Of that $5 of crumpled $1 you didn't happen to shove in a strippers panties when you stumbled in at 3 a.m., the church probably spend .05 on any poor person and 4.50 on the pastor's bass boat. :good4u:

No, you are trolling, I'm discussing the IRS code with precision and noting the deductibility dollar for dollar of supposed charitable contributions to churches, also noting that the money spent does not go to the poor, but mostly to brick and mortar, insurance, salary and whatever nice things the congregation would like to enjoy at their Sunday morning w.a.s.p. social club. Money to a church is not equivalent to giving to the poor, as has been supposed by your redneck brethren here in the USA. I'm so far above you you have a nosebleed and your platelet count is low.
