If it is something like picking up litter in the local park then no problem. But if you're expected to travel a long distance and pay expenses yourself then that's not right. They tried to do something like that over here and there was a huge outcry about it.

The money with which churches help people come from VOLUNTARY donations. The money that funds social welfare comes from the government taking it from producers to give to freeloaders. See the difference?
