Unless, like the flu of 1918 and it just goes away.
I hope so. But flu is still alive. So are vaccines for it. Sure, let's try for herd immunity and eradication of covid19 and alpha-omega variants.

I’m all for that, but the astounding ignorance that abounds may keep us from achieving that. Think how wonderful it would be if people got their flu shots!I hope so. But flu is still alive. it could spread at current rates for a decade and still most of the dead would be from New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois and California......
I said copy and paste where I said what you claimed. You haven't so I will correctly assess that to mean you're talking through your ass. Thanks for the confirmation. You useless fucking cunt that you are.
see Daily New Deaths.....you might also want to look at the states ranked under deaths/million......File another post under made up facts that the alt right thinks sounds real, but are totally fake. They post these hoping no one will ever check them.
Out of 618,685 deaths in the USA, 208,431 were in "New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois and California", so we do not have to wait a decade, already most of the deaths are not in those states. Only a third were in those states. Guess what, those states also have about a third of the country's population. You would expect them to have a much higher rate, due them being densely populated transportation hubs, but that has been lessoned by their better reaction to the pandemic.
While the rest of the country opens up, and those of us who figured out that the vaccine actually works are living our lives again, the virus continues to spread in Jesus Land.
Here are the ten states with highest positivity rates:
Kansas
Idaho
Arkansas
Alabama
Missouri
Oklahoma
Mississippi
Iowa
Utah
Wyoming
Seeing a trend? No? Okay, how about this. The states with the lowest vaccination rates:
Mississippi
Alabama
Arkansas
Wyoming
Louisiana
Tennessee
Georgia
Idaho
Utah
West Virginia
South Carolina
Gosh, the only state there that didn't vote for Trump is Georgia.
How about new cases per 100,000
Missouri
Utah
Wyoming
Nevada
Arkansas
Colorado
Louisiana
Oregon
Montana
Mississippi
Only 70% of those states are Trump states.
Bottom line, in ignorant redneck hillbilly antivaxxer Trumptard states, Coronavirus is alive and kicking. Please stay away from the rest of us. Thanks.

New Jersey has a 30% higher death rate than South Dakota. New Jersey has 1,263 people per square mile compared to South Dakota's 11, so New Jersey is literally hundred times more densely populated, and should have much higher numbers. Also New Jersey is a major transportation hub, so was hit earlier, when treatments were more primitive.
