Trump to edit the report before release...

What do you mean, "if," you can surely bet that when that report leaves the White House it will be void of anything even closely related to something that might remotely embarrass Trump, guarantee his "fixers" have their sharpies ready.........because I say so.

There, I edited this massive pile of bovine bile to somewhat resemble reality and have some truth. ;)

And he'll still be a lying traitor.

Jarod, If the Democrats have no confidence in the report as released after WH using their executive privilege, They could subpoena Mueller to prove there was no political interference in the probe.
You, and the entire mob of Trump supporters, would have freaked out if Clinton had done the same with the Starr report. Hypocrisy much?

This is pretty funny, now a post begun questioning the worth of any report censored by the White House has evolved into an Obama "whataboutism" portraying Obama as a Russian agent, beautiful, the Trumpkin mind, really a piece of work

Since the left has been saying for years that the Mueller report will prove that President Trump colluded with the Russians and that he is a Russian traitor and his family, too, I don’t care a great deal what the left thinks or says anymore.

They didn’t even believe that President Trump would run or be elected or remain in office for more than a month...a year...

Clearly, no one should care a great deal what you 'think'.

Two BIG if's...

IF I WERE TRUMP...
and
IF IF IF I were innocent...

I would make a huge show of releasing the entire report without redactions or edits to prove my innocence.
But you're not Trump and he's clearly not innocent, otherwise there'd be no need for him to "edit' the report.

"Special counsel Robert Mueller's team issued more than 2,800 subpoenas and executed nearly 500 search warrants in its probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election and any potential involvement by President Donald Trump's campaign.

That's according to Attorney General William Barr's letter to Congress on Sunday summarizing the findings. The special counsel employed 19 lawyers and was assisted by a team of 40 FBI agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants and other professional staff. The team interviewed approximately 500 witnesses."

Case closed, no collusion or evidence of obstruction.
According to Trump's hand-picked stooge.

Chicago Tribune:

"The public will see something, but how much and when is unknown. Barr said in his letter that being "mindful of the public interest," his "goal and intent is to release as much" of the report as he can, consistent with the law.

That means scrubbing the report of any information that could compromise the secrecy of grand jury proceedings, as well as any material that could affect other ongoing investigations or prosecutions. Mueller has referred several matters to other prosecutors, and those inquiries are still underway.

The attorney general said he has asked Mueller and the Justice Department to begin the process of identifying such material so it can be redacted, but a speedy timetable is unlikely."
If that's the case, then why does Trump need to "edit" the report?

The full report must be redacted to protect sources and methods, classified information and material covered by Executive Privilege.

This is the law, also the rules as set by the Justice Department for release of SC reports.
So why does Trump need to "edit" it?

Get a clue.

But that's not Trump's job. It's the job of the DOJ. Trump just wants to 'redact' anything that is true about himself.
