I recall the ENTIRE Starr report was released to the public. There was no summary and the Clintons weren't allowed to edit it beforehand. And the democrats didn't block the release of the entire report.
With trump you have the complete opposite. The full Mueller report is NOT being released. We got a 4 page summary that his mate Barr wrote and now he is giving the Mueller report to trump to edit.
If trump has been completely exonerated - as he and his arse licking supporters claim - then just release the entire report - unedited .
trump will then be able to laugh in the democrats faces and demand apologies and even sue them for defamation.

United States v. Nixon. Nixon "legally" fired all those who were investigating him under the SCOTUS legislated law of "executive privilege".....what the court determined is the precedent that no US PRESIDENT has the authority to withhold vital evidence that would hinder a DOJ investigation in a criminal case.
That SCOTUS decision all but "buttons up" the Mueller investigation with a nice little ribbon tied atop it. Mueller found no evidence of collusion and thus could not attempt to indict and prosecute anyone for the charge of OBSTRUCTION concerning a matter where there was no evidence found beyond a shadow of doubt that Trump or his campaign colluded with anyone......No one can OBSTRUCT a lack of evidence. If there was evidence of obstruction....according to the SCOTUS precedent established under the United States v. Nixon case Trump had no "executive privilege" in order to edit out any evidence from the record. If it was there.....Mueller would have reported that it was there and the democrats would have already started their little IMPEACHMENT PARTY end zone dance.
The left can deny it all they want....but.....THE PARTY'S OVER ITS TIME TO TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, Mueller is no longer calling the tune to the dance known as the DC SHUFFLE COUP.
The final decision rests with AG BARR......and he's already called the shot heard around political world. NO COLLUSION, NO OBSTRUCTION.

Jarod, If the Democrats have no confidence in the report as released after WH using their executive privilege, They could subpoena Mueller to prove there was no political interference in the probe.

Since the left has been saying for years that the Mueller report will prove that President Trump colluded with the Russians and that he is a Russian traitor and his family, too, I don’t care a great deal what the left thinks or says anymore.
They didn’t even believe that President Trump would run or be elected or remain in office for more than a month...a year...

Mueller would never do that, its not his job or his mandate. His job was to produce this report and remain unbiased. He has done that. He will not spoil his position or reputation by changing that... You assume Mueller is against Trump, he is not, he is pro-law and has followed it. He would consider it a blemish if he did something to illustrate a bias or interfere with the political process in any way other than following the law.
