There’s neural damage that occurs that then impairs the function of these neural transmitters, these chemicals like acetylcholine, which is this chemical that’s really responsible in large part for our normal cognitive function. And so someone with dementia would not be treated with amphetamines to get them more alert. It wouldn’t increase their brain acuity at all. It would make them jittery, more confused, really, because they wouldn’t be able to think clearly. Drugs for dementia are primarily aimed at increasing levels of acetylcholine, like Donepezil, which is used for Alzheimer’s dementia.

It is a proven scientific fact that traditional psychostimulant raise intelligence (in terms of IQ) after they are administered in therapeutic doses. Swanoski is DEAD wrong; and a number of his other claims such as the assertion that they will not magically enhance debating skills fail to take into account that Biden has been a politician for 47 years and has spent countless hours debating in the past, Drug like Adderal also enhance memory and would have helped Biden revive is forgotten debating skills.

True! They discovered that laying these patients on their backs and hooking them up to an inhaling machine was not a good idea. The nurses now roll the patients over now several times a day. That is standard procedure now.
They are also putting them on anti-bloodclotting drugs much sooner now. Lots of things they have learned in treating the disease!
