And we have a recording of him being convinced or just the testimony of someone that might be promoting their own political ambitions. :facepalm: The bottom line is he told them to PEACEFULLY protest prior to him telling them to be be peaceful in his Tweet. Besides Trump rarely did things he didn't want to do. You could tell him what to do.

Right-wingers ignore that, or make excuses for it. It's stunning dereliction of duty. That alone makes him unqualified to ever hold office again.

He simply didn't care who got hurt, or what happened. The whole thing fed his ego - which has a limitless appetite.
 
And conservatives will turn on and call into question the motives of ANY Republican or White House staffer who has testimony that puts Trump in a bad light.

I remember saying this about Bush & the Iraq War: a whole lotta people have to be lying in order for him to be telling the truth. At what point do righties stop marginalizing so many of their own in order to protect one man, who is a proven grifter and pathological liar?

He also tried to stop the Secret Service, who informed him that some of the speech attendees were armed, from making them go through the metal detectors and removing their weapons. Remember after that news came out, along with the report that he tantrumed when the SS tried to take him back to the WH, how at least one agent was going to testify under oath that these reports weren't true? Why didn't he testify? Why has not a single person stepped up to testify in opposition to these facts?

Yep. Even his own daughter testified that she begged him to do something to stop it.

I wonder about the mental health of someone who can clearly see the truth here yet pretends that they cannot. How dishonest you must be in real life if you cannot even be truthful to yourself.

Gods. I wish I knew. What a moving article. As well as terrifying.

I once met the rabbi of that synagogue in St. Louis the whackjob threatened to blow up, at an event to support Medicaid expansion in Missouri. She's a wonderful, charismatic, compassionate, amazing person. She and her congregation are involved in many community service projects. How could anyone want to destroy good people like this?
