Smith asked for a December date

This is just a couple months off that


I think she lost her trump loyalty once she realized he is going down no matter what games she played

Aileen Cannon has the very real ability to ensure no other case came to docket by instead granting Jack Smith his requested date, of dec 11 but then as that date approached entertaining motion after motion to delay, each pushing the case back in 3 month or longer increments. Effectively she would leave no ability to squeeze in any other case but could keep granting hearings on frivolous Trump motions that would delay it beyond the election.

A smart Aileen Cannon would have done that but we all know she is not smart.

What we will now see is Jack file the Washington case early next week, ask for an expediated trial, and almost certainly get it.


Aileen has likely thrown Trump out of the frying pan, thinking that helped him, but right into the fire!

Not complex at all, most of the facts are established. It’s actually a simple case…

Trump took documents.

Trump refused to return them.

Trump was subpoenaed for them.

Trump returned some.

The Justice Department searched, found a lot Trump hid.

Trump was charged for those crimes.


What is complex here?

She has no trial experience, which as what the Heritage Foundation looks for in judges. She knows that she's under the microscope but I still would not put it past her to refuse to penalize trump if jury nullification doesn't work.

The coverup is going to be the issue. What happened to the 'missing' gap in the video of the storage area?

There are plenty of people facing prison if they don't sing re. trump refusing to return documents.

And moving them in an attempt to hide them

She can be impeached


I think she figured out trump is going down big time

The lawyers even have to get security clearances and so do their staff. There are lots of issues. This will likely be moved to after the election. The voters may resolve the issue.

Nope, when you do crimes in public and it is captured on audio and video, it is not tough at all. Cannon gave him a long time. They will not even work on it for a few months. Then she gives another delay and Trump escapes justice again.
