If you were really a lawyer, what do you think of someone who keeps claims to be one type of person but never behaves or otherwise indicates they are such a person? Would you think they are lying? That they are hiding something?

Do you believe liars should be trusted, Pmp? Do you believe Benjamin Franklin was correct when he wrote "Half the truth is often a great lie"? Do you believe it's okay to lie for personal gain?

Actually the Clinton sock drawer case says you are wrong. It is up to Presidents to decide what is a presidential record and what is not. It is not up to the archivist. When Trump set documents to take to Mar a largo those became his records and they were automatically declassified. Jack Smith knows this and that is why he largely avoided that issue in his charges. Smith made up some other issues involving military secrets. Those aren't going to work either.
