Well firstly, Uday and Hope Hicks are in trouble for lying to Congress about the meeting. So that's a crime.
Secondly, to solicit or receive anything of material support from a foreign power is also against the law. Whether or not they actually got anything doesn't change the illegality of it.
Thirdly, why have the explanations changed so much about the meeting? The constant shifting of goalposts seems to indicate they're trying to cover something up.
First, they said "no one had any contact with Russia"
Then they said "there was contact with Russia, but it was about adoption"
Then they said "there was contact with Russia, it wasn't about adoption, it was about getting dirt on Clinton"
Then they said "there was contact with Russia, it was to get dirt on Clinton, but nothing came of it"
Now they're saying "there was contact with Russia, it was to get dirt on Clinton, nothing came of it, so it's not against the law"
Well, it's not for them to decide if it's against the law.
Maybe Hicks can lie to congress then get a job at CNN like Brennen did lol.
Or write a book like Comey.
Give me a break.
