Trump in bed during botched Yemen raid?

Very well.
How many died despite Ambassador Stevens rejection of increased consulate security? Ten or so?

Guess what. Bush (R- "TX") lost a few as well.

Malomar Quadaffy designated himself for termination by committing to mass murder. Lockerbie.

ref:
14/01/15 NBC-TV News reports:
- A major new finding: Ambassador Stevens "declined two specific offers" from Gen. Carter Ham, for more military support.
- With U.S. military fighter jets 5 hours away, the U.S. military was not prepared to respond to the attack.

Try again... You did your best to misrepresent the argument completely (as did the WP). It doesn't matter whether the concerns/requests sent out were sent directly to Hillary or not. As head of the State Department, the burden was on her to know what the security concerns were at Benghazi, and to ACT on those concerns/requests to show some semblance of competency and provide her team the resources needed and the respect they deserved. She FAILED, and you and other Liberals look the other way and don't care one bit about the those lives lost.
"I think a lot of the voters who vote for Trump take Trump seriously but not literally." - Peter Thiel

Let's go over this one more time, a little more slowly so you might be able to understand.

The claim made by Trump as you made in your first post is a lie. And the article articulates why.

Secondly, a big fuck you on what you think I do or don't care about. You haven't demonstrated shit that you can comprehend a simple article, much less about my beliefs.

Trump is responsible for this terribly botched raid.

Why wont the media cover it like they did Benghazi?

You know, that's exactly how I remember conservatives - and Fox News - when it came to Benghazi. Patiently waiting for the facts.

yes we patiently waited for facts about the youtube video that caused it.....imagine our chagrin when we found out the facts didn't make any difference now.....

Hillary was a hawk, which is the main reason I didn't vote for her.

But the hypocrisy of many conservatives re: Benghazi is nearly overwhelming. It is epic.

I know, right?......some didn't even care that she didn't think her lies made any difference.......by the way I'm still searching for the parallel between her lies and Trump sleeping.....could you clarify.....

then educate me.....tell me why your claims of parallel aren't merely liberal caterwauling.......

1) Trump is a hypocrite for criticizing Hillary for not being in the situation room during Benghazi, and he isn't there for the 1st raid in his admin.
2) Many on the right are hypocrites for making Benghazi the worst thing since Vietnam, but basically ignoring this one, and (of course) having no issue w/ Iraq

Hope that helps...

you can go with Bengazi..I go with Libya as a whole ( lot of utter destruction).
Bengazi was just the symptom but Libya's destruction is what got us there.
anyways having Ansar al-Sharia as part of security was sheer madness.

The rest of your post is stupid. If you understood the fact Hilary pressed for regime change you might get a clue as to why Qadaffi was designate a military target -it had nothing to do with Lockerbie -that was long settled

the decision was made. There was nothing Trump could add/subtract once they landed

I go with the omniverse and all of space / time.

But on both humanitarian and factual basis I appreciate your taking the broader view.

Perhaps you and I can make lemonade from these geopolitical lemons.

By now we should have learned:
Topple a tyrant like Saddam or Quadaffy is likely to only make matters worse for U.S.

Why do you RW morons have such a propensity to lie?

"We’re using this Donald Trump quote as a jumping-off point to explore a figure that has been widely cited since the House Select Committee on Benghazi held a hearing in October featuring former secretary of state Hillary Clinton — that there were “600 requests” for security upgrades from U.S. officials based in Benghazi, Libya."

"As usual, Trump wildly exaggerated the figure. A key point that Republicans on the committee have tried to make was that Ambassador Chris Stevens — who perished in the 2012 attacks on U.S. facilities that left three others dead — did not directly communicate with Clinton on her private email system. (Generally, ambassadors would send messages through the chain of command.) So none of these came directly from Stevens to Clinton, “asking for help,” as Trump put it."

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wa...er-security-what-this-statistic-really-means/

Democrats on the committee say that Republicans have not shared their methodology for counting the requests and concerns. Democratic staff tried to reconstruct the 600 figure by reviewing cables, emails and other documents, but say they only were able to identify fewer than 200 specific requests. But as noted before, a substantial number of the 600-figure could be what the GOP staff labeled as concerns.

To demonstrate that the 600 figure was based on a count of actual documents, the GOP staff permitted The Fact Checker to view a spread sheet showing the date each document was created, the subject line and “Bates number” — the official State Department coding of the document. We were not permitted to view the sender and receiver. We also could not publicly disclose the subject headings or the Bates numbers.

The number of documents added up to 581, and staff members said classified documents would bring it over 600. A number of documents had the same subject heading; we counted, in one case, 17 with the exact same subject heading. This indicated that concerns were being discussed, as opposed to new requests.

Obviously, the tagging of requests and specifically of concerns is somewhat subjective. A more instructive list might be of unfulfilled requests. The committee’s final report is supposed to list the documents that formed the basis for the 600 figure.

You're really gonna try to equate a US attack on the enemy with the US BEING attacked BY the enemy ?

I guess you're also gonna tell us Obama was sitting at his desk every time one of his drone attacks was in progress...

You're nuttier then desh and lie as much as Jarod....

and the no.2 claim is too outrageous and ridiculous to comment on....

Proportion. Quantification. And Pragmatism.
The situation room* is the White House crisis response and command center.
But as there was no U.S. response possible at our consulate that night, what rational reason would there have been?

* during the Clinton administration, this was known as "the sticky situation room"

I sincerely appreciate you linking it to / for me.

But at the moment my ISP is dial-up, and unless the text is posted in the post, it's a virtual certitude I won't follow the link.
Copyright law requires posters to include the source link when quoting from it. On the exceedingly rare occasions I need to probe further, the link may be useful.
But to me an un-teased link is as useless as tits on a bullfrog.

Thank you a.
That's quite a scoop.

Did you know that the repairs to the Cole cost more than it would have cost to scrap and replace it?
But because the Clinton administration didn't want to hand the bad guys a victory, we resurected her instead.

The raid in Yemen was a success by any military measure.....one plane lost and one soldier KIA....

Collateral causalities happen probably 75% of the time especially when the enemy uses civilians as a shield.....note how many Obama's drone strikes are responsible for....
