If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view - NO FEDERAL FUNDS?

Though I never really supported him, I did initially like that he would upend politics as usual and spoke frankly. But I have been getting sick of it and thought he would temper down after he took office. He is not in control of his emotions and that is not a good thing for POTUS.

Calling Shumer fake tears or whatever, give me a break, you're POTUS, enough with the kindergarten insults. Insulting Australia about a "dumb" deal. It was directed at Obama, but the phone call put a rift between one of our strongest allies.

And now to knee jerk this thing with Berkeley and use all caps to say no federal funds question mark. He needs to grow up and learn that being POTUS means being diplomatic. These little playground tweets don't do anyone any good. Remember Obama and the cop and professor, he had to have beer summit over that, but Trump followers love that stuff now.

It is quite frankly getting embarrassing to have him as a President.

If you and Trump had not been so knee jerk about it, you would know that they canceled solely due to security concerns after the riot, before that, they rejected calls to cancel it because of free speech.

This really shows how intolerant liberals are of free speech or speech that doesn't fit their world view. They fully support the right of far left wing wackos to speak, but not anyone on the right. And they get violent about it.

No need; if you build it, they will come. I don't know anything about Milo, but, I read on NR that he's basically a professional troll. He certainly knew this was likely to happen, because leftists can't help being violent people.
 
Again, for the upteenth time. Freedom of speech refers to the government allowing you to say what you want (to a degree). How the public responds is up to them. The school could have told him to go kick rocks rather than speak at their school, but they booked him.

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences.

Trump wants his pet Nazi Steve Bannon to get the word out about the New AmeriKKKan Nazi party and to recruit more Brownshirts for the New Trumpkin Youth Army.

He cant do that if informed students are allowed to have their free speech rights squelched due to threats of economic sanctions.

"Say what WE want or we'll take your funding..."

We know Righties care about the 2nd amendment, if only they cared about the one amendment that comes BEFORE the 2nd..

If the University was the entity that prevented the speech, I would have to consider the point. But Trump is lying when he insinuates that UC Berkeley was intentionally preventing free speech.

yeah but this shit always happens. This isn't the first time kids have protested over milo. They always do this shit to shut this stuff down. Obv when things are burning the school has no choice but I think the school tacitly lets this stuff get out of hand. They could have had campus police in place or taken other measures to minimize these issues.

the students are part of the school.

I bet your ass btw student government was involved. I bet numerous social groups sponsored by the school were involved in the protest. book it.
