Trump’s Electoral College victory ranks 46th in 58 elections. Trump lost the popular vote by more than 2.9 million votes. That’s not a mandate.

Trump can’t get any leading artist to sing at his inaugural.

His business dealings are extreme conflicts of interest and are against the law.

right. i've seen 'gung ho' second amendment supporting senators balk on a gun rights vote because they don't like it, get cover from other senators, vote against gun rights measure, but proclaim to their constituents that they supported the 2nd amendment. it's fucked, we know it, you SHOULD know it, and it eliminates any cogent thought or idea that trump has a mandate

There is already talk amongst a few of them, of opposing him on various measures.

In a backhanded way, Slump might actually manage to force bipartisanship in Congress, but not the way any President would want.... in opposition to him.

Not at all. Politicians are elected to represent us. We live in a Republic and not one of Damo's anarcho-libertarian paradises. Popular mandates do exist but just because a politician has a mandate doesn't mean that gives them the right to ignore the constitutional framework of our laws. It just means that we, the people, have given them marching orders to get something specific done. Politicians often claim a popular mandate they don't have to justify either their own agenda or their parties agenda.

Trump isn't even legitimately elected, much less possessed of a mandate by virtue of overwhelming support. He, Russia and Comey stole the office.

This is what many of them are saying between the lines, if you can read there. It's pretty funny when they go "full" racist. They are usually more adroit than to break the code.

Heritage, states rights, colorblind, bootstrap, dependency are a few of the racist concepts that are sufficiently vague to convey in group membership in the soft klan or alt right. Words and concepts that more clearly demonstrate it include dem plantation, & civil war apologists.
