Just because you say it doesn't make it so. He won in a landslide. Accept your fate
HE did win, and he might get stuff accomplished, he does not have a mandate from the people.

what is a state but a geographical location of a few square miles?
I dont make the rules of the system i just analyze it.
Trump can legitimately say voters will punish those senators who go against him therefore mandate.
Like I mentioned the important thing is not whether you or me think it but the senators do. If you look at the way manchin and heidkamp and others are acting they agree with my pov.
I think you're in for a surprise, as we all might be.
Slump not only stepped in some Republicans' toes during the primaries, he stomped on them with spiked boots.
There are more than a few GOP Senators who don't like him at all, resent him beating them using the scorched Earth tactics that he used, and don't like the idea of him as President.
There is already talk amongst a few of them, of opposing him on various measures.
In a backhanded way, Slump might actually manage to force bipartisanship in Congress, but not the way any President would want.... in opposition to him.
Could be fun to watch.
:0) If you think Obama had fierce opposition from republicans ..you ain't seen nothing yet.
Trump hasn't even taken office yet and his opposition is already loud and clear.
As he stumbles forward with failures to produce, EVERY misstep will get louder.
Trump is probably the most investigated man in the world right now. The only people who trust him are his cult followers.
Trump won in a landslide.
Not at all. Politicians are elected to represent us. We live in a Republic and not one of Damo's anarcho-libertarian paradises. Popular mandates do exist but just because a politician has a mandate doesn't mean that gives them the right to ignore the constitutional framework of our laws. It just means that we, the people, have given them marching orders to get something specific done. Politicians often claim a popular mandate they don't have to justify either their own agenda or their parties agenda.I actually think that by believing Trump, or any president really, has a mandate that it waters down the fundamental cornerstone of our republic which is the constitution. It implies that one man has the authority to decide the direction of the country and in my opinion that's not what our founding fathers had in mind. Three separate but equal branches of government with one being checked by the other. Our constitution is the mandate and its functions are clear.
Grab your 40 and get back on your porch nigger.
What a fucking low life.
You should be permanently banned for that, gilly-gal.
I screen captured that post and will use it from now on, every time one of your fellow dirtbag wing nuts claims that conservatives aren't the racist scum we all know you are.
