I wonder if that whole thing about not holding elections in wartime, plus the billions running through Zelensky’s hands, has anything to do with it? People have been led to believe it’s in their Constitution, but that’s bullshit. Elections can’t be held during martial law. Zelensky’s all about that martial law life, renewing it every 90 days. Meanwhile, during the four year Donbas shitshow, the president didn’t declare martial law at all, and elections like the 2014 presidential and parliamentary ones went off fine. In another conflict, the 2018 Kerch Strait mess, the president slapped on martial law for just 30 days, and elections still happened in 2019, no problem. What's his excuse?
Another thing that’s pissed me off from the start is Zelensky’s entitlement attitude. The dude’s been demanding security guarantees from the US like we owe him, whining about needing to save his country because their military was jackshit when Russia rolled in. Seriously? He should’ve been tripping over himself with “thank you” and “please” for all the cash and weapons we’re sending. If Ukraine hadn’t been the corruption capital of the world, maybe they’d have spent more on defense, it would have better served them.
Thankfully, the US cash grab’s over. If they can’t work out a peace deal, let Europe fund the death machine. We’ll sell ‘em weapons, make a profit, and stay out of that money pit for a change.
