Trump again again bans THC…

You aren't the best representative for it.
Says a foreign disinformation bot hole

I unlike you have been correct on my positions repeatedly on this sight

I’m nothing fucking special

I’m just some old housewife who sticks to the facts

The facts give me the power to find the way to understanding what the fuck is really happening

Anyone can do it

You chose lies over facts

So you always defend dumb assed shit

You can choose facts instead

Just like any human walking the earth

Give facts a try

Every action helps and harms others, it's a matter of degree as to when the law should get involved. I do think it should be illegal to drive a car while affected by THC. If cars become a LOT safer and people rarely are harmed in crashes, we should change such a law.
42% is a huge number. As long as the majority of cars don't drive themselves THC should be banned.

Do you believe that number is affected by whether THC is legal or not? Should it only be banned for those with Drivers Licenses?

But then again the caffeine in Big Gulps and frequent bathroom breaks would stop people from falling asleep at the wheel. And falling asleep at the wheel is a huge factor in fatal accidents.
Right so now you are saying we can ignore the bad outcomes which is clear with distracted driving as long as we can also point to some unquantified positive outcomes.

So if we can point to many quantified positive outcomes with THC use and we tell people not to drive while under the influence as that is against the law do you support it or do you just show you are a hypocrite as you diverge from the point you are trying to make here?

Hey idiot.

The very study you cited says the 42% number existed when THC was illegal, before legalization and the number DID NOT CHANGE after legalization, meaning your own study absolutely destroys your 'safety argument' as making it illegal generates NO CHANGE.

AI Summary:

The Ohio study specifically includes the period both before and after Ohio legalized recreational cannabis. ACS

Here are the relevant timing details:

  • The study period was January 2019 to September 2024, per the ACS summary. ACS

  • The study’s authors explicitly state that the 41.9% THC-positive rate was “unaffected by the state’s legalization … during the study period.” ACS

  • No — the study does not claim or prove that THC caused the crashes.
    • It's an observational, postmortem toxicology analysis.
The study was reported as an abstract (ACS Clinical Congress), and as of release, it had not yet undergone full peer review. ACS

And legalization has increased cannabis use in Ohio.

It already is fool

It is bad on the developing brain particularly on the hippocampus (memory) and prefrontal cortex (executive function). So kids are at a particular risk.

I agree we should keep it from those under 21. Plenty of adults do not drive.

So we have a HUGE problem with cannabis impaired drivers so let's make the problem even worse.

Hemp is legal in all 50 states since 2018 , but they didn't expect Hemp companies to hire chemist to come up with Intoxicating synthetic Hemp products turning CBD into synthetic THC like Delta 8!
Sold not in dispensaries, but at gas stations, carryouts and vape shops! And most important to the government, don't have that extra 10% tax ,like what is put on Marijuana products sold at dispensaries!
They have 1 year to sort this out! Next year Hemp intoxicating synthetic products will be sold in dispensaries with sales tax and a new 10% Hemp tax
