Transphobes Arrest PA Woman For Using The Bathroom Of Her Choice

I started this thread recently and predictably it garnered little interest. Trevor Phillips has impeccable PC credentials and latterly realised that many Muslims in the UK are totally disinterested in integration. It is a pity that you can't see the Channel 4 programme, it is a real eye opener.

Guess I wasn't clear, I wasn't speaking about the US or UK problems with Muslims in particular but about how people like Trump want to take some of their (American Muslims) rights away. He wants them to register? Hate to use a Nazi reference but that's exactly what happened to the Jews when Hitler was in power. We don't have a Muslim problem here. I can't state percentages with certainty but guess that 99% of them want what everyone else does... jobs, families and freedom to live life as they choose.

Yes I understand that very well but seriously how many people does this actually affect? To my mind, the metaphor "making a mountain out of a molehill" comes to mind. In cognitive psychology, this form of distortion is called magnification.

It affects hardly anyone but that's not the point. Social justice warriors needs a cause like fish need water. Psychologically, it probably gives them a sense of purpose which they can get on the cheap by merely advocating for their cause on debate boards.

It explains the weird fixation with slavery and the Civil War. All of the principle actors are long dead and buried, but aligning their cause with past injustices [everything is Selma AL and it's 1968 lol] lends it moral gravitas.

Which in the case of the restroom wars, is sorely needed. These people were born at least 50 years too late.

AA came about to correct inequality. Honestly I don't know why people are so up in arms about AA, I doubt it even touches the majority here.

So you support using race in making decisions of whether or not to hire someone? Would you support using race if the choice in hiring was to deny based on it?

The reason you don't have a Muslim problem is that there is nowhere near as many in the US as in Europe. Saudi Arabia has an extremely aggressive policy of funding mosques and madrasas in Europe in a way that doesn't happen in the States. I suggest that you listen to this excellent BBC Radio 4 programme on the Deobandis, they are highly secretive but own and run over 40% of the mosques in the UK.

The Deobandis are virtually unknown to most British people, yet their influence is huge. As the largest Islamic group in the UK, they control over 40% of mosques and have a near monopoly on Islamic seminaries, which propagate a back-to-basics, orthodox interpretation of Islam.

Yes, I agree. The US and the UK have different priorities about what is most important right now.

It came about to pander to certain groups.

Do you support it applying to males since a gap exists between males that go to college and females that go to college? We'll see if you care about inequality or prove what I said about the true purpose of AA.
