How in God's name does this murder diminish the reality of all the mass shootings in the last 25 years done with weapons that were formerly on the1994 AWB?

I'm sure his movie is good; I haven't heard otherwise. I genuinely liked much of Rob Reiner's earlier work. It's a shame, though, that so many people let hatred and bitterness take root and consume them, especially in their later years.

In my view, Rob fell into a pattern common among leftists. It often starts from simple ignorance, following the crowd, getting that initial rush of righteous outrage what some call the first TDS high. Like any addict, they chase it forever but never quite recapture it. Soon they need stronger doses, more frequent hits, to feel anything at all. They drift away from normal folks who haven't joined in, then surround themselves only with fellow sufferers. Eventually comes full isolation, even outright hatred toward anyone still sober.

Sadly, Rob reached what I'd call stage-four TDS. It turned a once-tolerable leftist into a radicalized echo. I don't wish that fate on anyone, least of all someone nearing the end of life. And I certainly wouldn't wish real harm on him, stage-four TDS isn't a crime deserving of that. It's just a sickness.

Go watch it. I think you'll enjoy it. It was made before Rob fully fell into his self destructive pattern, and in any case, he didn't write the story.
