Wow, I saw an air show in Maryland just a couple weeks ago with a bomber and planes just like that, I wonder if it was the same planes.
The airshow organizers are taking heat for overcrowding the flight pattern, a factor that could be part of yesterday's tragedy.
As the initial video showed, the visibility out of the P-63 could be another factor.

It looks like the P-63 pilot (the other plane involved) was rolled away from the B-17 and likely couldn't see it from his cockpit. The B-17 really couldn't dodge or do anything to avoid this accident.
