you see GRIND makes it so I cant look at more than three pages of past threads for just this reason.

he fears me and what people said in the past

cheating

its what right leaning assholes do

how is it illegal even if true idiot

good lord.
unmasking for any reason except for "needed clarity" ( to understand the underlying report) is illegal.

Think it thru. It's not supposed to be a routine occurance, the protection of the identity of US citicens
is paramount from incidental collections.

Now all of a sudden Rice is not just doing as occasional unmask-she's doing it on a routine basis coinciding with Trumps nomination.
Further the pace of the unmaskings continues to increase. That clearly looks like she was on a political fishing exhibition.
Plus why was she disseminating it to Obama officials like Rhodes?

She thought the logs would never be examined, but someone in the Trump WH (?)
found her out by the unusual frequency of her unmasking.

Perhaps the unusual frequency of the Russian contacts and Trump-connected people involved in those contacts attributes to the unusual frequency of said unmasking.

As it sits now, there is nothing illegal about what she did. Your whole argument amounts to "unusual frequency". JUST like as it sits now, we have no definitive answer about Trump's alleged Russian ties.

Great Trumpsky asshole licker thread, contards!!!!

Make sure you get your tongues way up inside there, too.

Get it nice and clean.

Putin doesn't like getting mud on his helmet.

reports on this say it was non-Russian related unmaskings. These are raw intelligence transcripts.
Further why did it start in July, and increase in pace?

and the whole thing is under Obama's last minute decision to allow for much more ease of dissemination
across the intel agencies, but why was Rhodes included?

why did Rice lie about knowledge of her actions?

good lord.

Maybe that's true in the political world you exist in, but it isn't in mine.

On this issue, here's what's being discussed.

Appropriate Surveillance

There is no “unmasking” scandal. The whole thing is bullshit, a reality TV storyline jointly spun by Republicans and the right-wing media. It’s a clever bit of misdirection and mystification meant to do two things. First, it’s supposed to validate the president’s March 4 tweet claiming that Obama put a “tapp” on his phone during the presidential campaign, though it does no such thing. Second, the “unmasking” drama is meant to make it seem as if the real scandal lies in the investigation into the Trump team’s foreign contacts—which Trump would have us believe was politically motivated—and not the contacts themselves.

In fact, it would have been a dereliction of duty for the Obama administration, which was still in charge of the country’s national security, to ignore suspicious contacts by members of the Trump transition team. After all, at the time, the FBI investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russian attempts to subvert the election had already begun. We also now know that Michael Flynn, who would soon assume Rice’s job, was a paid foreign agent of Turkey. According to ex-CIA Director James Woolsey, Flynn met with representatives of the Turkish government to discuss kidnapping Fethullah Gülen, a government critic who lives in Pennsylvania, and sending him back to Turkey outside of normal extradition channels. (Flynn denies that this happened.) Trump himself has alleged financial ties with Russian mobsters. At the time of the alleged unmasking, all these men were still private citizens. If they were talking to targets of American surveillance, the people in charge of our national security had an obligation to understand why.

There was nothing illegal or unethical about what Rice was doing .. she was doing her job.

Hit me back when you come up with anything illegal about this. Until then ...

I'm sure you'd like for this to all go away .. but it won't.

BINGO!!

story is still breaking but I heard on Circa (?) that Rice INCREASED the pace of the unmasking/log use
as the campaign went along. that is political behavior

It seems to have started in July ( Trump nominated) and picked up pace .

She's a known liar as well as one of Obama's most political operatives .
She lied about this as well

Essentially we now have a 2 track investigation. the usual "Russian collusion" and now abuse of the IC

More uncorroborated nonsense.

"It seems"?

"you heard"?

:rofl2:

More uncorroborated nonsense."It seems"?"you heard"?:rofl2:
i try to be careful in my claims..but the Rice story is far from uncorroborated, and it's not just FOX - Bloomberg reported it also.

"I heard" = in passing the pace of the unmaskings picked up. - but there is no doubt Rice is culpable and a known liar.

Gone to the White House to see the logs? Maybe. Inform the president who he's supposed to be investigating? No.
agree/ he went too far there.

(national Caller - says Rice created a spreadsheet of phone calls..uncorroborated)

on Monday, Fox News and Bloomberg News, citing multiple sources reported that Rice had requested the intelligence information that was produced in a highly organized operation. Fox said the unmasked names of Trump aides were given to officials at the National Security Council (NSC), the Department of Defense, James Clapper, President Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, Obama’s CIA Director.

Joining Rice in the alleged White House operations was her deputy Ben Rhodes, according to Fox.

Critics of the atmosphere prevailing throughout the Obama administration’s last year in office point to former Obama Deputy Defense Secretary Evelyn Farkas who admitted in a March 2 television interview on MSNBC that she “was urging my former colleagues,” to “get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration.”

Farkas sought to walk back her comments in the weeks following: “I didn’t give anybody anything except advice.”

Col. (Ret.) James Waurishuk, an NSC veteran and former deputy director for intelligence at the U.S. Central Command, told TheDCNF that many hands had to be involved throughout the Obama administration to launch such a political spying program.

“The surveillance initially is the responsibility of the National Security Agency,” Waurishuk said. “They have to abide by this guidance when one of the other agencies says, ‘we’re looking at this particular person which we would like to unmask.'”

“The lawyers and counsel at the NSA surely would be talking to the lawyers and members of counsel at CIA, or at the National Security Council or at the Director of National Intelligence or at the FBI,” he said. “It’s unbelievable of the level and degree of the administration to look for information on Donald Trump and his associates, his campaign team and his transition team. This is really, really serious stuff.”

Michael Doran, former NSC senior director, told TheDCNF Monday that “somebody blew a hole in the wall between national security secrets and partisan politics.” This “was a stream of information that was supposed to be hermetically sealed from politics and the Obama administration found a way to blow a hole in that wall,” he said.

the daily callerfuck you sideways annatta
you are so fucking stupid..
I put it in parenthesis -i mentioned it's un corroborated. I realize you have the attention span of a moth -
but it would behoove you to use your brain at times also

I uses FOX & Bloomberg for the NSC guy quotes

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on Tuesday suggested some people are holding former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice to a different standard than they would have held the George W. Bush administration.

The “Morning Joe” host questioned those dismissing reports that Rice sought to unmask President Trump’s transition team members mentioned in intelligence briefings, asking: "What if Dick Cheney had asked for the unmasking of names for Barack Obama’s incoming administration?”

"This Bloomberg report says that one official familiar with reports say they contained valuable political information, not intel, but valuable political information on what the Trump transition team was doing, including who Trump was meeting, who the Trump team was meeting, what the views were of Trump associates on foreign policy matters and plans for the incoming administration," Scarborough said.

"If that report is accurate, it begs a lot of questions about what was going on. And people who want to dismiss it as routine, I think, are uncurious," NBC political analyst Mark Halperin responded.

Scarborough raised a hypothetical scenario of the Bush administration doing the same thing during Obama’s transition.

“What if Dick Cheney had asked for the unmasking of names for Barack Obama’s incoming administration?” Scarborough asked. “It’s a very simple question to ask the next time anybody says this is much ado about nothing."

"Again, there are a lot of things we don’t know, a lot of questions we don’t know. I do know this, though, I heard the 'hallelujah chorus' come immediately on cue last night saying, and [panelist] Richard [Haass] is laughing because he saw it too: ‘Nothing to see here, move along, move along.’ “

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo had a very different take on “New Day,” Scarborough’s rival morning program.
http://thehill.com/media/327177-scarborough-on-susan-rice-what-if-cheney-had-asked-for-unmasking
Cuomo told viewers on Tuesday morning that the controversy surrounding Rice is “another fake scandal being peddled by right-wing media.”

I think if there were a chance that anyone on Obama's team colluded with a foreign power to undermine our democracy I'd be happy to see them unmasked.

Believe me or don't.
