Ahhh look he knows so little. I own a MN with a scope and a modified bolt handle so that I fire it with the scope. It is accurate as a sniper rifle to 800 meters. It has tremendous knockdown power and kills with great effectiveness.
The effectiveness of most firearms is due more to the shooter than the gun itself.
For proof of this look at the story of Billy Dixon. He used an iron sighted .50 cal buffalo rifle to shoot an indian off his horse at just over 1,000 yards. (a surveyor measured it at 1,028 yards)
Or check out Jerry Miculek's shooting with a revolver. At a close range speed shooting match (using an 8 shot revolver) he fired 8 shots into 4 targets in 1.06 seconds, and then fired 6 shots, reloaded, and fired 6 more into a target in 2.99 seconds.
