Time to move to phase 2

I thought that was why he called the press conference which was an unusual event. He wrote a book and explained why he decided not to prosecute. I don't remember all the details.

Regardless of the specifics of that decision, it did not involve a constitutional issue which was my original point. FBI directors can take all sorts of actions, good or bad, that do not violate their constitutional oath.

They already violated their constitutional oath.

Yes, a lot of odd reactions. When a publisher offers a person a million or two dollars upfront, how many people would let a ghost writer tell their story?

FWIW, I doubt Comey would lie outright. Like me, I think he's an honest man faithful to his oath. That doesn't mean, like me or anyone else that he doesn't make mistakes, give in to pressure or other human failings.

That being given money for a book doesn't mean he'd betray secrets or confidences. Since classified information is compartmented, even as director of the FBI doesn't mean he knew what was happening in Benghazi and Syria.

I’m happy that in a situation of world wide inflation the United States is doing much better than most nations.

so you are happy the inflation is worse than any time since the last demmycrat who fucked up our economy?......figures.....

I agree. He has too many people who can refute any lies he told about events. I usually check such claims to see if others spoke out to challenge his statements, but none did so.

Not sure of your background but you seem to understand the concept of reading between the lines. I've never been nor desired to be a politician. I was in a union but chose to volunteer working for aviation safety rather than sucking up to whiners in elected/political positions....not that there's anything wrong with that. We need elected leaders...and whatever it takes for a douchebag to run for office.

That said, I strongly believe that we should hold all leaders to a standard in keeping with their power. The more powerful they become, the higher the standard they should meet.

Do you agree or disagree on this last point, Flash?
