My public education? You sure do assume a lot. Roads? If you drive, you pay for them. There are no principles behind social security and medicare. It's a redistribution of wealth program that leftists support forcing people to be a part of so those on the lower end can have something when they get older.

Socialism is nothing than a way for freeloaders who don't contribute to the system or very little to get the same thing as those who contribute more than they should. We use it because those who don't want to earn think they deserve what those of us that do earn get by earning it. Bernie's education plan is a prime example. Don't tell me that someone else's kid is a good investment if his/her own parents won't invest in them. Don't tell me social welfare programs are a good plan when many living on them can do so and do better than they could do working based on the low level skills they offer.
