From what I have read on the CDC website the flu vaccine does contain thimerosal which does have mercury as an ingredient. There is an organic version of the vaccine that they use on pregnant women and infants, but for the most part the vaccines do have mercury in them. Flu Mist, however, does not. I will find the page with all the ingredients of all the different manufacturers and the vaccines that do still contain thimerosal.

Yes, the majority of influenza vaccines distributed in the United States currently contain thimerosal as a preservative. However, some contain only trace amounts of thimerosal and are considered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be preservative-free.

In other words SF - you're throwing your money away. Wasting it. You should be taking what you would spend on your useless multivitamins and donate it to poor people to help defray their beer and cigarette costs!

Good find, Meg, thanks. I really don't understand why this is still being used! I'm glad I've refused the shots (which they give out free here at work).

So I see.... I am somewhat pissed. Been taking the damn things for decades. Though I must say, I haven't had anything more than the sniffles since junior high. But that probably is due to eating and exercise habits.

I've been taking them for years as well. I never get sick, but I never blamed that on the multivitamins either. I just considered them insurance, even though I knew they were no real replacement for food vitamins.

they practicaly force it on us here at work.. I have only gotten flu shot once and i got sick a week after with a pretty bad cold (tho not the flu) Think it hammered my immune system or something.

I chew cold eeze gum if im feeling like im fighting something. haven't been sick in over a year now.
 
Ok so I am on day 5 of the acai berry juice. I now notice that I have a lot of energy, but I am also hungry ALL the time and it never used to be that way. Is this a good thing?
