This is Who We Pay to Protect Us?

ROFL..."tainted" food.

See, it's outlandish hyperbole like that which makes me think the officers "embellished" their story a bit for dramatic effect and to garner sympathy.

It's now been FIVE days and still not a single person has come forward to corroborate the officer's story.

According to both Zaxby's and the local police: Both Zaxby's and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office released statements on Thursday, July 14 both claiming "this matter is now closed."

Were you expecting charges to be filed?

Nothing in your link corroborates the officers claim that they were heckled.

When faced with a PR nightmare like this, naturally an apology is going to be issued.

Well, let's see. You claimed that when no one apparently came forward and backed their story up, this was evidence it is a false story. The restaurant apologized and did not say it was not true, why doesn't this count as evidence the claim is true?

If it was not true, wouldn't the restaurant owner defend and say it is not true?

Looks like it was true all along.

The incident came amid growing tension between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The franchise owner of the restaurant in question sent Channel 9 a statement, which said he was sorry for any undue stress it caused the department.

The sheriff's office sent a separate statement, which read, "The office is pleased with Zaxby's response -- their commitment to the community they serve -- and thank Zaxby's for addressing the matter as quickly and thoroughly as they have."

Both parties have said the matter is now closed.

LOL, another fail by Zappa.

Odd how our resident whiner keeps asking why no one has come forward to corroborate the Policeman's account and yet, it seems to have slipped past him that no one has come forward to discount the situation either; seeing as how he want's to continue saying that it happened during THE lunch hour.
