Until the last couple of days the supplies that were there never left the dock side containers, and large part of what has since arrived are waiting for space to unload due to the stalled containers. Federal Hurricane relief is depended upon a local infrastructure to begin dispersing supplies when they first arrive, however in this case, that infrastructure was totally destroyed. It wasn't till Wednesday that the needed administrative support from the Federal Gov't was established to logistically begin addressing those problems

What your overlooking, or just refusing to accept, is that the President, as the leader of the Nation, failed to even acknowledge in any significant way the destruction of Puerto Rico. As President, if he stresses an action, it gets done, but when he reacts apathetically, it sets the tone. And given what he did seem to see was the biggest concern for the Nation over last weekend adds another blunder attached to the Administration

Though Trump earlier this week cited Cruz in a tweet, thanking her for "your kind words" about the federal response, in fact*Cruz has been critical almost daily, saying officials are*moving too slowly.

The electric company ripped off the people, with Rube Goldberg type power lines connecting communities.
They apparently owe a bunch of money. The government is broke from vast overspending..can't borow anymore

So I wonder if some fiscal housekeeping isn't called for as well as massive Disaster Zone spending.
They seriously need to harden their infrastructure for next time

All hurricane manpower and equipment didn't even get into Houston or Florida till maybe 2 days later. We all get it, we've been through it. You only imagine and wish hard with your emotions. And, I get that too. For anyone on the outside looking in, it's extremely frustrating because you haven't gone through it enough times...hope you never have to. It's life and "this too shall pass" is our motto.

OK, so now you deny dates supplied by CNN and other media and also the pictures.
It's insensitive to allow island dwellers to live in unprepared conditions. For all their dependence on the government there, they should have gone all the way and supplied each impoverished household with disaster kits and rations and taught those of means to do this as well on their own.
