Yea....no. Don't believe everything trump tells you. All Republicans have put themselves in a bad place. First, they destroyed ACA via funding cuts. They broke it, and now they promised to fix it. The clock is ticking.

Those taxes will always be needed to fund the pre existing condition clause, as well as the 26 year olds on parents' policy clause. Both are things Republicans have to keep. That's why their plan can never work.

I just posted at your thread. ACA won't fail if left alone, but if Congress treated Moosecare the way they treated ACA, we'd still be out in the cold.

Remember....Republicans killed ACA strictly for political purposes. I think we need to fix Washington, in order to fix healthcare.

I not only talk to medical professionals about this issue, I'm often on panels with them in support of the ACA. If you'd like, I can post MANY thoughts on this issue from medical professionals who support it.

That being said, many of those professionals know that single-payer is the ultimate goal just as I do. But for now, Obamacare is far better than anything today's republicans can come up with.

Democrats would like to fix Obamacare, and if the GOP cared one little bit about their constituents, they'd be trying to do what's right and fix it too.

Folks forced into poverty due to an unforseen illness is EXACTLY what you get when a country's leaders care more about increasing their own personal wealth rather than working for the well being of their constituents.
