You have to check her out, she is all of the above and her panels are like a Jerry Springr show, they all scream at each other. It is hilarious. Not many channels are overing the trial to the extent of HLN coverage, so I had to luster to obnoxious!
 
I mentioned this on Grind's thread but wanted to bring it up here. The current Witness, Sondra Osterman, is making bucks off of "Georgie" and is being vaginally ultrasounded by the defense right now. Why in the world would they put such a biased witness on the stand?

14. Parents of teenage boys who walk to the store and can’t walk home without a grown man assuming they are “suspicious.”

15. Parents who don’t want grown men following their children.

16. Teachers who issue discipline who don’t want to be afraid that doing so labels their students as “thugs.”

17. Teenagers who don’t want to be labeled “thugs” because they wear hoodies.

18. People who don’t like seeing George Zimmerman smirk when saying he’s the only witness to the killing of Trayvon Martin.

19. People who know that shooting a gun with one hand can result in recoil that might hit you in the nose.

20. People who don’t like others firing a gun in their backyard.

21. People who would never jump on the back of a person they just fired a gun at, and who they are afraid of.

22. People who say “Let the court decide” and shut up, rather than write a book and/or go on television and radio giving the defendant’s story before the court decides.

23. People who don’t like bullies and cowards.

24. People who can’t stand killers who get on national television and say “It wasn’t my gun. It wasn’t his gun. It was THE gun.”

Tuesday’s season premiere of “Dr. Phil” was a trade-off for Mark and Sondra Osterman, friends of George Zimmerman.

The couple got to plug their book, “Defending Our Friend: The Most Hated Man in America,” about Zimmerman.

They also got a lecture from Dr. Phil McGraw who was starting his 11th season of “Dr. Phil.” McGraw weighed in on Zimmerman’s fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin in Sanford and Zimmerman’s status as a Neighborhood Watch volunteer.

McGraw said that “it’s a Neighborhood Watch program, not a neighborhood hunt program.” He stressed that people don’t take a firearm on Neighborhood Watch.

“Here’s a guy on a watch program packing a gun with no safety, it just smacks to me of Rambo, macho stomping around the neighborhood with a gun. That bothers me,” McGraw said.

Sondra Osterman countered that Zimmerman wasn’t on Neighborhood Watch the night of the shooting.

Zimmerman has said he was acting in self-defense against the 17-year-old. Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder.

why is that ouch? it doesn't really effect anything pertaining to the case, it doesn't have anything to do with a self defense claim, and the argument has already been made that even IF he was on neighborhood watch he still shouldn't have followed him. The point you bring up doesn't add any new twist. Everything is the same before you talked about it.

People are arguing the wrong things. It doesn't matter if Zimmerman followed Martin. It doesn't matter whose scream is heard on the 9-11 tape. There is only one thing that matters.

This is how Florida defines 2nd Degree Murder

a killing that "evinces a depraved mind regardless of human life" but "without any premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual."

The prosecution didn't even come close to proving that Zimmerman had a depraved mind. It really should end right there. Everything else is irrelevant. In fact the fact that a fight took place (which we all know happened) means that 2nd Degree Murder is a high hurdle to clear.

That being said, I still maintain it is 50:50 on acquittal.
 
yeah there is no way in hell he is getting convicted of 2nd degree and the vast majority of legal analysts on tv (for whatever credibility people want to give them) are all saying it's likely a full acquittal that is coming. There is still the chance of a manslaughter conviction though. Personally I think if you find him not guilty of 2nd degree there is plenty of reasonable doubt for manslaughter as well, but I don't know how the jury will act in that regard.

I don't think the evidence supports either. Neither did the police that is why they didn't file charges that evening. However, the Al Sharptons of the world disagreed and had to hustle up his race industry.

Make no mistake. All Sharpton saw was a dead black kid and the name Zimmerman (see Jew) and that is all he needed to spring into action. Imagine his surprise when this (Jew) turned out to be hispanic. But, the train left the station at that point and Sharpton had to keep going forward, thus we were introduced to a newly defined demographic the "White Hispanic"

I still think there is a chance he is found guilty of something to mollify the race hustlers. Call me a cynic
 
Pretty sad how liberals on this board have responded. Calling for the murder of someone who has gone through the justice system if the verdict is not what you desire? That is quite pathetic. I understand liberals believe in barbaric acts like cold blooded murder and in vigilante justice... but here in the civilized world, we have rule of law.

I'm not calling for anyone's murder (hilarious you didn't have the guts to mention my name when we all know who you are referring to)...unlike Damnmoron I don't have a "posse".

I just hope he gets some justice. With a capital J. It will please me. The idea of his walking around giggling like he did in court after murdering a young teen, displeases me. I do not like to be displeased.

Mr. Martin said that he listened to the 911 call an estimated 20 times, in order to try and figure out what happened that night, and that he is now convinced that the screaming voice is Trayvon's.

I'm sure he has convinced himself that the voice is Trayvon's; because otherwise he would have to admit that it was Zimmerman's voice crying out, as Trayvon assaulted him.

Well it seems to be the liberal posters who have called for violence against Zimmerman whether found guilty or not. I recall Darla expressing a desire for a bullet to be placed in his head. Many others took glee at the thought of him being raped by a rather large african american while in prison.

Now, I could be mistaken as I obviously don't see EVERY post by EVERY poster, but I haven't seen any righties profess these desires.
