Sun Devil
Death and Taxes
Ok let me clue you in.....
As a current university student you know what "healthcare" is for college students? Free condoms, STD checks, flu vaccination shots, etc etc
Most kids in college are still on mommy and daddy's plan and even those working have insurance. When I studied undergrad I had a full time job and was insured and because I was insured I had no option to take out the added insurance to decrease my freggin tuition. It was hard enough that parking was $150 just to put a placard on my vehicle and no fellow students crying about it?
No offense to the OP but are you freggin serious? Before you mention college students and healthcare do the research on the actual benefits of what college students get with "healthcare" access at universities. If you break your leg the college isn't going to give you a cast. If you have a communicable illness the college won't keep you. You know what happens when you faint and don't wake up? They call paramedics and take you to the hospital. The school may waive the ambulence ride (which is roughly $500-800 plus and minus) but when you get to the hospital and are triaged, assessed, and discharged, you foot the bill.....
So good riddance to the university healthcare one less freggin thing that is tacked on tuition.
