No, dearie, there was no "in kind." I merely said that my husband and I are quite happy with our Medicare coverage, then moose took it downhill.

Why do you care what degrees other people have? Doxing again? It's none of your business what her pension or SS are.

He lies a lot. He also informed us a couple years ago that he was retiring and moving out of Alaska. To Seattle, or Portland, or some left coast city. Guess he discovered that takes money.

That’s odd. Is that for tricare only? Because bc/bs is always billed first then Medicare. Medicare doesn’t even pay the bc/bs deductible or copay.
It’s why I dropped Medicare. They’ve never paid a cent towards anything even though they deduct from the pittance I get from SS.

I have a military pension along with Tricare, but after age 65, Medicare is billed first, Tricare second. Only the rich can afford to not need medicare in retirement. Ergo, he's either rich or lying about Medicare.

I sold the bidness in November’19, COVID hit shortly after and there was nothing for sale.
We’re quite happy living in Hawaii for three months (normally).
I rediscovered my appreciation for winter activities this year since we’ve been forced to stay in anchorage.
 
Maybe we'll get to hear the story...again... of how someone "finagled" finances to get really cheap healthcare... that was a really good one...;) Seems like the perfect time and place...
