You can go ahead and cite things that, in retrospect, did not come to fruition with this NOVEL VIRUS that nobody had seen before. Some public health policies were a bit harsher than probably necessary, but it was the best science at the time.

A vaccine, you fucking idiot, is a substance that causes an immune response. No vaccine is 100% effective, Festus, and informed people know that. Some are merely better than others because of the nature of the virus, moron. The flu and COVID vaccines have less efficacy that the polio vaccine because the former two have constantly changing variants.
